First arrived at hotel and checked in. Went to enter our room to find other people in there. They double booked our room. We then moved rooms. We got to the room and it was hot. We set the AC and went sight seeing. When we returned the room was still hot. We then had to switch rooms again. Now saying all that, the staff was amazing in rectifying the situation.

The room was comfortable and clean. The staff was cordial and polite. The breakfast was served well.

Clean facility, very helpful staff, close to restaurants and other attractions

This hotel is located in downtown Washington, D.C. with a secured underground parking garage at a rate of approximately $50.00 per day plus applicable tax. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean, and the complimentary breakfast offered a nice variety of food and beverages. My friends and I had a great visit admiring the cherry blossom trees at their peak bloomage during the last weekend of March 2025. We were pleased with our stay.

Decent option.

Die Ausstattung ist mit einer kleinen Küche im Zimmer hervorragend. Außerdem gibt es ein reichhaltiges Frühstück und das Personal ist wirklich sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Außerdem ist die Lage am DupontCircle sehr verkehrsgünstig bzw. zentral!

My family had a great stay at Residence Inn by Marriott, it’s located in a quiet street and close to Dupont Circle Metro Station (just 5-6 minutes walk). It’s close to downtown DC (3 stations to The Triangle Federal Station), The White House, Capital Building, and Ronald Reagan Airport (6 miles). Staffs are very friendly, they greeted us with a smile when we showed up for breakfast. Breakfast was changed every day. I highly recommend this hotel when you are in DC.

Quiet neighborhood with plenty of local dining options. Access to Metro Rail was great and made getting to our daily destinations easy. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area.

The property was under renovations but all areas are clean and safe. The renovations did not interrupt our stay. We would definitely stay again.

Clean rooms, great breakfast

So, the staff made our stay amazing! From the front desk clerk, Ronita, to the maintenance engineer, to the associates at breakfast. They were so incredibly friendly. It was easy to overlook the renovations taking place because the staff took care of any need or concern. They were amazing in the middle of a renovation and I'm sure they will be even more outstanding after. Then there's the breakfast buffet. Incredible. Amazing selection for a variety of dietary needs.

Poorly kept property, bathtub faucet was broken, the sink was old and the ac was super noisy, like a bus on our room departing peridically during the night.

WiFi is not so good.

My wife and I stayed here for about 12 nights while in the area. I rate our stay as pleasing because of the location, relative value for money vs other options in the area, but mostly because of the exceptionally helpful and nice staff. It felt like all of the front desk and particularly the restaurant/breakfast kitchen staff truly enjoyed their jobs and working together in a team. Kitchen staff brought out freshly made biscuits or muffins and went around offering them to you at your table. Really nice touch. The room was a bit worn but everything was functional. The service was good with supplies and towels being replenished as needed even though sometimes we had to call for them to come. However, it was obvious that they are not doing a deep clean of the rooms, hardly ever. The carpet felt sticky with years of grime, it was that bad. Overall, I recommend this Residence Inn. The staff are really exceptional and if you appreciate getting friendly assistance then this would be a good stay for you.

Very close to Dupont metro that we used every day. We walked to Georgetown and Lincoln memorial. Great service, good breakfast

Nice place, good location, and staff. But they need to offer better price/options for parking and have more food for breakfast, if you can’t have breakfast early morning you want to find all the options available…

There was a broken light on the headboard when we got into the room, and I hit my head on it twice because, well, it’s on the headboard. The room was not clean and had a smell, the light fixture in the bathroom didn’t work, and the remote control didn’t work. A disappointing experience for the money I paid.

Loved our stay, rooms were great, breakfast was amazing!
