It was horrible. It was very dirty !!!! And the bathroom is a joke !

It was a very nice stay ! The place was nice quite clean and cozy for the price it was great ! No complains . I had called to inform I would be checking in late instructions where on piont! No problem to get in the building !

Really nice, just need to improve wifi. Some chairs and a table outside will definately make a difference. Doors should be able to be locked when you are not inside your room. Other than that, nice hostal.

It’s in the heart of east Harlem so it’s not the best area but the actual rooms were clean and totally do able for two people. Look to make sure you get an email from them that will allow you access.

No signage no person answering the phone no way to check in!! I was left out on the street at 9 pm!!

when we booked this place we were under the impression it was a hostel. however, when we arrived we discovered it is just a room in an apartment- you can't lock the door, you share the apartment with people who have access to your room, there is only 1 room with shower and toilet in the apartment, there is no staff or a front desk, and when we tried to talk to the only staff member (the owner of the apartment) we did not get any respond. the building IS very close to a subway station but it took us about 40 minutes to reach most interest points in Manhattan, except Central Park. the worst part is the locks on the door- the maid unlocks the door OF THE APARTMENT every morning leaving your room accessible to EVERY person entering the building, and there were many times the other residents just forgot to lock it. in addition, because you as well have access to all other rooms in the building, you can easily be blamed for taking someone's stuff. and the last thing is the stairs- the apartments are in the 3rd and 4th floors, there is no elevator and the stairs are broken, steep and dangerous (we almost fell several times).

Nous avions réservé pour un couple avec un lit double et nous nous sommes retrouvés avec deux lits séparés en mezzanine. Nous sommes restés 15 nuits. Les autres clients avaient le droit pour quelques jours 3 en général avant de partir à des deux places, des chambres beaucoup plus spacieuses alors que nous payions la nuit aussi chère que les autres ! La femme de ménage, n'est pas américaine, elle ne parle ni l'anglais, ni le français et ni l'espagnol. Elle vient avec son mari et ses enfants qui restent sur les lieux le temps du ménage. Il est impossible de fermer sa chambre à clef il n'y a pas de serrures ! Il y a un bien un placard par chambre avec une serrure ou ranger ses affaires mais la serrure est la même pour tous les placards et la même que les placards des chambres de l'étage d'au-dessus. De plus les portes d'entrées sont ouvertes par une clef mais les voisins du dessus peuvent avec leurs clef ouvrir à notre étage et vis-versa. Je n'avais pas la conscience tranquille lorsque nous partions et que nous laissions nos affaires. Surtout qu'un jour nous avons retrouvé sur nos lits des affaires qui ne nous appartenaient pas. Quelqu'un avait donc fouillé dans notre misérable chambre. Il y a des SDF devant la porte, c'est eux qui nous ont accueillit imaginez notre surprise d'autant plus qu'ils connaissaient les codes pour entrer dans l'immeuble et qu'il y a toujours une clef accessible à tous. Je déconseille vivement.

Leider war bei der Ankunft die Zimmertüre nicht schliessbar, da der Türrahmen schwer beschädigt war. Da das Hotel keine Reception vorhanden war, war die Kontaktaufnahme äusserst mühsam und zeitaufwändig. Schlussendlich erhielten wir ein anderes Zimmer, dessen Türe zumindest von innen verschliessbar war.

It is a great place super affordable especially if you're a student! It is a little ways from down town but the subway is literately around the corner so transportation is easy. Truly a great place, I'll honestly stay there again the next time I visit NYC

No problems during our one night stay. The hotel manager was very friendly and helpful.

Bei unserer Ankunft war die Wohnung schwer auffindbar, aber haben wir nie den Vermieter getroffen, alles wurde per Email geregelt inklusive diverser Codes für die Türen etc. Die Wohnung besteht aus 3 (Doppel-)zimmer, Küche, Bad. Solange wir allein in der Wohnung waren, war dies ausreichend. Am Ende waren wir zu fünft in der Wohnung, dann wurde es mit Bad-/Küchennutzung schwierig. Außerdem ist die Küche videoüberwacht, wobei wir anfangs dachte, dass die bloß im Falle von Problemen nachträglich zum Einsatz kommt. Später erhielten wir um 7:30 einen Anruf, mit der Begründung "ich habe gesehen dass ihr wach seid" - die Kamera war also tatsächlich im Einsatz - für uns ein absolutes No-Go.

Although everything is relatively close in Manhattan it was not a great area to be in, felt very dangerous so we couldn't go out at night. Other travellers in the apartments were noisy and inconsiderate (spending hours in the bathroom, which meant we couldn't get ourselves ready when we wanted to) they also kept leaving the front door unlocked (the rooms themselves don't have locks so it was extremely unacceptable and careless). Cleaner was also slack, didn't clean our room two days in a row for no explanation.

upon arrival it was snowing and the showing of the apartment was under a dental office. i thought we were lost at first, however. when i put the first code in on the first door and the second code in on the second door, we were welcomed into a lovely apartment with a huge rooftop that was covered in snow. inside, were three rooms, two rooms with a double bed and one bunk bed overlooking the rooftop and a nice door with a window on top to see out-of-the-windows. what a pleasant sight to see the snow falling as i laid on my top bunk. the beds were not as comfortable, but the maids were so nice they even washed my clothing and folded it neatly. there was a full kitchen with some food left and a nice french couple stayed in the other room.

Nous sommes arrivés et une enveloppe nous attendait avec les clefs à l’intérieur. La qualité de la chambre nous a déçus par rapport à l’image qu’on s’en faisait d’après les photos. Le réfrigérateur était plein de produits avariés qu’on a dus jeter à la poubelle. Une dame de ménage venait tous les jours et se contentait de nettoyer en surface. Elle fait tout de même les lits. L’état de la literie laisse réellement à désirer. La chambre est sale, le ménage n’a jamais été fait sous le lit et la descente de lit devrait être impérativement changée. Les plus de cet appartement étaient la cuisine qui nous a permis de nous faire à manger ainsi que sa localisation, à une vingtaine de minutes de Manhattan centre. Par contre attention vous êtes filmés à l’intérieur. Il y a une caméra en hauteur dans la pièce de la cusine. On ne s’en est rendu compte qu’à la fin et c’est très déplaisant.

Made a reservation for a room with a double bed, but got two singles beds instead. A room with a queen bed was available and empty, but the staff only moved us to this room after having complained serveral times (After 4 nights out of 6). Organisation seems not be good. Expedia customer service did not do anything about it either - very disappointing.

Soweit ganz Ok. Für einen City Tripp ausreichend. Nur ein paar Schritte zur U-Bahn. Nur sollten Ehepaare nicht das Zimmer mit dem Stockbett bekommen.

Me gustaria aclarar que NO es un hotel, sino que es un departamento con baño y cocina compratido. El único punto en contra es que tiene 3 pisos por escaleras (no muy comodas), y para subir y bajar las valijas es complicado. Respecto de las intalaciones, esta todo a nuevo, la habitacion muy linda y prolija y cocina y baños a nuevo y equipados. El unico problema de las habitaciones es q no tienen llave, solo te dan llave de la entrada al dpto y de un placard minusculo por habitacion. No tiene recepcion sino que te mandan un mail unos dias antes de llegar dandote las coordenadas de como identificarlo y los dos codigos para abrir las dos puertas que te separan del departamento. Otro punto es que el barrio no es mejor de NY pero es excelente tener la estación de subte a 30 mts con la cual llegabamos a todos lados, a 30 min de downtown. Lo recomiendo por el precio, porque NY es carisimo, pero a tener en cuenta esos puntos, de todos modos volvería a ir por el precio y las intalaciones.
