What a beautiful resort! I spent some time there for a girls weekend and it was so relaxing. The rooms are updated and clean, and they even leave snacks for you at no additional charge. The views from our patio were absolutely amazing. We were right on the beach. The first day was a little chilly, but they have blankets for you to take outdoors if necessary. They light bonfires in the evening and have many chairs available for their guests right on the beach. Saltwood restaurant is onsite and we had a really great dinner there too along with some drinks. It is really a wonderful little hideaway from all of the hustle and bustle. If you need a special getaway I would highly recommend a stay here.

Wonderful experience! The staff was super helpful and attentive. The room had a lovely feel to it with a nice view of the ocean and lots of little extras. We loved the restaurant on the property and the in-room breakfast. Wish the pool was a little hotter, but I was still able to enjoy it and it’s probably will be perfect for warmer weather. We’re definitely coming back when we are in the area! I recommend this place.

Great location on the beach. The rooms are well equipped with high grade consumables . The bedding was good although a little soft for my taste.

I very much appreciated the VIP room upgrade, the wonderful facilities, and the extremely friendly staff that made my stay a wonderful experience!

It was nice but we probably won’t be back. The room was very hot even with the fireplace off and the windows open. The restaurant on site was good for the appetizers but over priced for the mains. But it was a nice location with lots of birds chirping and good views. So not terrible, but not the best either.

The view was beautiful and the place was not over populated.

I have stayed there 3 times. It’s a very nice place. Safe great spot and fire pit is perfect way to end the night. They have updated the rooms and it’s even better

This resort was really a space of peace. We loved how friendly and helpful the employees are!

Family oriented hotel. Catered to families with kids. Great views and friendly staff. Everything was clean. I suggest staying on an upper floor as you will hear every footstep from the exterior to the inside of the rooms.

My first time staying at the hotel gave me a compensation upgrade and had the best amazing view. Will be coming back again for my birthday.

Great overall place to visit. I teally liked the pre-burning fire pits at the brach eith tables & brach chairs.

I would echo what some other reviewers have mentioned that the sound proofing is not great between rooms especially if you are on the bottom level. We could very vividly hear whomever was above us specifically at night while we were trying to sleep. I brought ear plugs so that was helpful but I would never stay on the bottom floor again if we came back. Other than that we really enjoyed our stay, the amenities, property layout, and the staff. The yoga in the morning was so so wonderful- highly recommend! Would love to come back during a warmer month when it’s not as rainy or windy. We did leave a breakfast request outside our door the first night and no one ever came to get it- not the biggest deal but I’m not sure why they give you those food requests to hang on your door if no one checks them.

Amazing place

Sanctuary is one of my favorite resorts, not just b/c of the beauty of the hotel and the uniqueness of lodging on the beach, but because Guest Services is 10/10! From check-in, room service, the Salt Wood restaurant, to special requests, the staff is outstanding and provides an amazing experience.
