The staff was wonderful. The room however could use some work. Beds clean but bathroom faucet in tub about to come out of wall, the air conditioning unit was so extremely loud and needs attention and for heavens sakes - rotate in some new towels. Many bath towels had stains on them. A wonderful location with awesome amenities.

Very old property and its not clean and smells very bad

Honestly, I feel pretty duped by my booking. My room was NOT was was shown in the pictures. The floors were disgusting. There was mold on our sheets. Hair and dirt on the comforters. The shower did not drain so there was 6-7 in of standing water if you tried to shower. All in all, we left 2 days early simply because it was not what it was supposed to be.

The property is dated and in need of major renovations. Shower drain was blocked, toilet ran constantly, the AC was very loud and staff as a whole were indifferent - never smiling or courteous.

I enjoyed my stay the property has everything I always wanted hot tub restaurant bar and entertainment the staff are friendly my fiancé and I had a great time, we will definitely be visiting again soon

Beds was very comfortable & food options was ok.

Beds were hard. Property was old and outdated. Pictures were deceiving. We didn’t get an ocean view. Food options at resort were limited. It served its purpose but we will never stay there again.

Great amenities, outstanding location but the furniture in the room was really outdated.

The room was spacious enough and the layout was great. As in cleanliness, there was a bowl of some food in the refrigerator which had a foul smell and left over toys in couch as well as under the bed from previous guests. The ice maker was unavailable to be used. The pull out sofa was fastened with straps so it was unusable. In my opinion there should have been some sort of warning about unusable items at time of booking and check-in with a discounted rate as all the amenities were not as advertised. I will continue to use Hotels.com but may not stay at this resort in the future. Thank you Joseph.

Check in was easy and smooth. No issues finding parking. Staff were friendly. Pools were enjoyable. Definitely will stay again!

The resort was not up to what I had experienced at a resort in that area before. Breakfast bar was limited and not able to take food out of restaurant. The cost of breakfast was not clearly defined. It was written as if everything was included in price but drinks were not. Our room was right over the bandstand , bathroom floor had not been swept. Room very small and shower head leaked when in use, needs to be replaced. I would not recommend this resort nor would i stay there again. Positives were on-site free parking, waitress at Windows restaurant Misty was grear. Food and waitresses at River City Cafe were good and the bell hios /porters were very kind, helpful and courteous. The registration desks receptionist were efficient but no one smiled or seened like they liked what they were doing.

The room were VERY dirty very. The sheets looks like they only turned around, they didn’t look clean. The beds were REALLY noisy!!! You can hear the noise from the next room. The first night we couldn’t really sleep at all. They need more staff for sure so they can provide better service to guests! The Tiki bar and the band was the only good thing about my stay. I will not come back to this hotel for sure!!!

My recent stay at the Sands Ocean Club Resort was, unfortunately, a terrible experience. From the moment I arrived, I was met with a complete lack of hospitality. The bellhop was incredibly rude and refused to provide me with a luggage cart, making it difficult to get my bags to the room. Upon entering the room, the problems continued. The entire space smelled strongly of cigarette smoke, which was particularly unpleasant. The floors and appliances were visibly dirty and appeared to be rusted and poorly maintained. To make matters worse, I discovered a used cigarette butt in one of the dresser drawers and, most disturbingly, a cockroach in the room. This stay was a major disappointment and a far cry from what I expected. The combination of rude staff and a filthy, unkempt room made for a truly miserable experience, so much so that we decided to **leave a day early**. I would not recommend this resort to anyone.

I always stay here for my vacation but the people racist and treat my kids as if they were nothing i just it’s cool to hire black people to work there but only whites cans vacation there never again will I stay there

The area around the property is great. The rooms were not so great. We found a few cockroaches roaming around and when we told the desk they were not surprised at all. Location was nice and convenient, but I wouldn’t stay here again.
