Not the greatest area - pretty limited food

I love how close this place is so close to Great Lakes Naval Station. We needed to be at the PIR early in the morning. We didn’t have to wake up that early because the drive was only a little over 10 minutes away. The hotel is run by friendly staff.Everything I have asked for, whether it be ext towels, blankets, pillows, they gave it to me with no fuss. We highly recommend this place if your recruit is graduating, or even if it’s just for a night or two. We enjoyed our stay! Thank you Sleep Inn staff!

Traveled to highland park for my daughter’s performance of Hairspray in highland park. It was 15 min from the theatre. Comfortable and affordable (ac was a lil loud but barable) . We’d booked again.

Found bed bug in bed. Checked out and left.

We stayed on 7/26/25. Check in was great! Got to our room, left about 1/2 hr later to go to a concert. Got back around 11:30pm, left at 11:45pm. There was a live cockroach running around in the bathroom. Took a picture, went to the front desk. No one was there. We turned in our room key and got out of there. Called the next day on Sunday to speak with a manager. He wasn't in. Called again on Monday, no manager again and the front desk could not help me. This hotel has a bug problem, hopefully they try to take care of it, but getting ahold of someone that

Was clean and renovated

It was a little pricey for a hotel with little accommodations. The room was clean but humid. The A/C unit was extremely loud! I stood for three nights and didn’t receive any fresh towels. Perhaps the stay wasn’t long enough for service. I gave it 3 stars because it was a decent hotel.

Stayed one night and it was good. As in every hotel you have the inconsiderate people slamming their doors to their room as if they’re the only ones there! No real hot choices for breakfast other than waffles, which were good. Price was reasonable on Orbitz.

Have stayed here 5 years in a row. Comfortable, clean, and convenient. First time ever the shower water didn’t get hot or even warm though.

I booked two rooms for my family last week. One of the rooms had a strong, unbearable odor that smelled like a rotten dead body. I immediately reported the issue to the front desk and asked to change rooms, but the staff refused. Instead of helping, they simply handed me an air freshener and told me to spray it myself. I checked out within ten minutes of checking in and requested a refund, but that was also denied. They still charged me $150 for a room I couldn’t even stay in. This was a terrible experience and completely unacceptable. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Basic cleanliness and customer service were completely lacking.

Everybody was nice

Overall condition and service was average.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. They had Navy graduation decorations. It really made our trip more special. We appreciated that. We were so happy to have picked this hotel.

Surrounded by factories

My daughter and I spent 5 days at this hotel and we enioyed it. The staff are friendly and accomodating.

It was a good choice of hotels. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly and cordial.

This is a decent place to stay if you need somewhere safe, convenient and comfortable while in the area.

Rooms were clean. Everything worked. But they look nothing like the pictures. They are super small. The bed was listed as a queen. They are more like a full size. Staff was friendly.
