My boyfriend and I had a pleasant stay for the weekend.

This place dont have a parking lot you need to find a parking on the street but need to move the car every 2 hours or pay for parking, seems like dont have room service the blanket smell dirty and also the room smells so much cigarette, its close to downtown

Bathroom door isn’t hooked in properly so door will get stuck.

Property was easy to get to, quiet and in a safe area for walking. Parking was about a 2 block walk but other than that, it was wonderful.

Our stay here was excellent the room was clean and cozy we will definitely be staying again and I highly recommend thank you!

I like the home like feel of this place.

positives: outstanding on-site custodian--allowed me early check-in due to cleaning staff being done early, and fixed issue with sink leaking water after check-out. negatives: phone customer service was atrocious, due to: 1) property is managed by place that has another property, and they were answering my questions as if I were guest at that other property (wrt storing luggage before check-in and after check-out), and english not being their first language made it difficult to understand what the disconnect was, and 2) hours were only 8a-5p or so--left 6-8 messages and sent email, but no responses until daytime work hours. that is simply unacceptable--if a person has a question, they need it answered! also, expedia did not prominently warn customers there was no front-desk at the property until AFTER I made the purchase. expedia really needs to be much more transparent wrt properties that are very diff't from traditional hotel experiences.

Great clean hotel with everything you can possibly need and walking distance to everything :)

Nice quiet and clean place .

The positives is a clean room, good toilet paper, and unique decor. The negatives were very small shower, creamer and sugar were hard as a rock and old. Sink had no stopper so there was a fear of small things going down the pipe, and no cafes or restaurants nearby.

Great place to stay. Easy check-in and the host was quick to respond with any questions or concerns. Definitely felt like home with the ambience of being in my own bedroom. The area around the hotel is quiet and well maintained. Parking is easy to find and cheap. Sunday parking is free. And lots of food places in the area. Will stay here again on my next adventure.

this is basically a hostel for grown ups. In one of the worst parts of town there's no lobby or visible staff, my room did not have a closet and looks like the "bathroom" was added to a nice fraternity room. walls are thin so i could here the tv from a room down the hall. low price so small room expected. its clean they sent me the codes (no keys) morning of stay. didn't need anything so not sure but they seem responsive. great as a crash room.

We really liked our room, it was suite #22. It had everything we needed for the time we were visiting San Diego (microwave, mini fridge, a couple of dishes, shower with hot water). The Hotel does not have its own parking so my advice is to look into where you want to park before staying here. We could hear people from other rooms but it wasn’t too bad to the point where we couldn’t sleep, we just turned the AC on and it tuned out the noise. Overall the stay was good, the room was cute but find parking before you stay here.

My girlfriend and I had a wonderful stay! For the price is was great and the room was clean. The staff is AMAZING and very responsive! I left my wallet and they were quick to let me know. Also, definitely check your messages if you don't get your room number and codes in an email. Parking can be a pain but there is a place across from Kind Coffee that's 15 a day instead of 35.

Great for a couple just needing a place to sleep. Very nice and clean with a modern old twist to the layout. Definitely would not mind staying again.

It was so easy to just get there and check in online and was a nice cozy room. Even though we just slept for a few hours it was satisfying to us

Loved our stay! only downside was the parking !

Creativity abounds here. It is more like an air Band B, which can have some advantages and drawbacks, such as no lobby or front desk. Parking is mostly two hours, also, Monday through Saturday, so that could be an issue for longer stays.

Beautiful place for the price

Cozy and comfortable room. The hotel managers were very kind and helpful when I had trouble locking my room. The room I stayed in was not quite soundproof as I could hear conversations in the entrance lobby, but it really didn’t bother me. I’d love to stay here again one day
