Been going to this hotel in the CIAA days when it was the Crown Plaza!! Loves it then and now that it's called The Sonesta..All the staff is great from the front desk to the housekeeping. Will continue to come back again and again!

It was nice

The lobby and common areas were very nice which leads you to think the rooms will be nice. Also, our beds only had sheets on them, no comforters, and late at night when we went to take a shower the shower would not work. Told the front desk twice and they said they would send someone to look at it, which I knew wasn’t gonna happen since it was late at night. They should have given us another room, but didn’t even offer it. We had to clean ourselves with washcloths. Also, the furniture in the room was worn, the carpets were worn with sticky and a really old-fashioned TV system.

A fine stay. But everything beyond strictly the room has a price. $9 water. $20 breakfast buffet. $14 parking (unavoidable ). A budget hotel would include most of that. This is more like a business hotel. Good price on the room, though, for a quick overnight just passing through town.

Property clearly has been upgraded recently, but some dings and dents show through: room furniture showing wear, bath tub slow draining, hair on a washcloth. Not something I'd complain about because none of that really bothered me. Beds, especially pillows were SUPER comfortable. Good water pressure in shower and supply of hot water. Didn't use amenities like pool or fitness center but looked well maintained. Liked the fact the main lobby door and elevators require room card access. Five minute drive to Lynx lightrail system made it convenient to get uptown. Overall enjoyed my stay.

I was there for two nights but my rooms that had was not cleaned, trash cans running over in each room had to call for clean towels. I feel I should get some compensation for what happened. Thank you Marilyn J Lewis Compton

Very nice hotel very clean beds n pilows not as comfy as other hotels I have stayed in but was very impressed with hotel and friendlyness of staff.

We were disappointed with our stay at the hotel. A few years ago, we hosted an F3 Women's Empowerment event there, and the property was in much better condition then. Upon our arrival, we were assigned room #1218. Once we opened the door, the musty smell and stuffiness made me nauseous. I informed the hotel desk clerk that we could not stay in that room due to the foul odor. We were then assigned to room #1216, which had a more tolerable smell, but it was clear that the hotel needed renovations. The arm of the sitting chair was deteriorating as if an animal had chewed on it, and the furniture was outdated. The ice machine on our floor was also broken, forcing us to go to the 11th floor to get ice. My daughter, who was assigned a room on the 5th floor, also experienced significant issues and had to be moved to another room. To make matters worse, the next morning, on May 3rd, we discovered her car had been broken into while parked on the property. The floors of our room had not been vacuumed well, adding to our disappointment with the stay. We have contacted management to discuss compensation for our unsatisfactory accommodations, particularly concerning my daughter's rooms. She was initially assigned to room #502 but had to be moved to room #910 due to various issues. My daughter even recorded a video of her room to document the uncleanliness, which needs to be addressed.

Easy to locate. Easy parking. Very friendly and professional staff

I had a balcony that would not close called asked for new room or fix never received either

I was disappointed that I lost an item and called just 30 minutes after check out and I had to report it to a third party to now avail. Very disappointed

The front desk was really helpful and polite. We loved our stay and they even allowed us to extend our checkout time ! Definitely staying here again.

They didn’t mention you have to ASK for housekeeping

A/C unit rattled non stop. No towel service during the entire stay.
