Springhill Suites by Marriott Prince Frederick

Clean modern hotel. The suite had been updated since the last time I stayed here for business and liked their room set up better.

Very average hotel. Broken bathroom sink pipe which resulted in water draining on the floor. Could not latch bathroom door shut for privacy. Dispensers empty in shower. Front desk staff were pleasant.

Hi, Overall, it was okay. First upon our arrival, the sheets were dirty and had hairs all over them, the door was stuck open due to the deadbolt on the door being stuck. Moved to another room where there were containers of old food in the fridge and no bags in the trash cans. Also, there was a wasp in the room.

There was a cigarette lighter behind the end table showing a lack of thorough cleaning. The water pressure in the shower could have been better.

We had little to zero hot water when we tried taking showers on Saturday morning. We had to wait an hour to finally get warm water to shower. :(

First time to stay at a Springhill Suites. Since it is part of the Mariott family, I was possibly expecting more from the stay. The lobby area and staff at the front desk and the breakfast area were all excellent. The parking was good and we were able to get places near the door and we felt safe in the area. Our room was spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. However, the room had not be updated in years. The soaps, etc. in the shower area kept falling off the wall into the bathtub and the toiled was so low to the ground it looked like it was made for a toddler. The walls were SUPER THIN and you could clearly hear conversations on both sides of us. Unfortunately, in one of those rooms the parents were having difficulty with their children and they were hollering at them and disciplining them for all to hear. We kept hearing the kids holler "that hurts", etc. This went on for some time. All in all, I recommend that the rooms be updated and at the very lease put some insulation between the walls.

1) Staff was very friendly 2) several common areas and my room had stains 3) graffiti scratched ino the elevator 4) room smelled of mildew 5) breakfast was really awesome.

Wonderful front desk young lady (she was there each time we walked by in 3 days) .. Hope she went home at some point😎, but she always greeted with a smile. The lady caring for the breakfast was delightful too. Breakfast spread was very bountiful… many many choices. The shower was strong and hot!

Bathroom soap dispenser was empty and light in bathroom kept flickering. I think that needs checked out. Buffet was so-so. Regular coffee was out both days we tried to use it and it was still early on the breakfast timetable.

Stay was great! Only reason I’m not giving it 5 stars is because 1. Door lock on bedrooms made too much noise when closing door, 2. Gym was closed and unable to be used & 3. Hot tub temperature was not hot enough. Other than that- room was comfortable, breakfast was good, and it was in a great location.

Absolutely adored everything about our stay!

This hotel was fine for our quick overnight, a place to lay our heads after a long day. I can't speak to any of the facilities because we didn't use them. The breakfast was a typical hotel one, but per usual the kids enjoyed the waffle maker. The shower had great pressure, which we all really appreciated after running around all day. The pillows were the typical flimsy kind, but at least each bed had 4 on them. I've been places where each person only gets 1 flimsy pillow, so at least we all got 2.

Housekeeping never came our entire stay, hotel is pretty dated.
