Very good customer service. Facility is neat and design is cool (some might not like it but I like) Only one unfortunate thing was air conditioning was not working well. Somehow no heating but just cool function, which was not good for Oct in Boston

You could hear the Pocket doors sliding in other rooms

It was convenient for us, since it was close to where we needed to go. We would go back here in the future

Beautiful clean hotel. We stayed in signature suite. Bad was somewhere comfortable. Breakfast was very good . Location was perfect for our visit. I will definitely stay there again if i need to come back to Boston or Cambridge.

Hotel has everything you need in it. Patio area is beautiful to sit outside and enjoy a nice day. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly

In general, the hotel is good and nice as it is in good location. However, on the last night of our stay, the AC didn’t work as it should. The AC run all night and made noise till I turned it off. Can’t sleep at all. I spoke to the staff in the morning when I checked out. Hope they did something to it.

The hotel didn’t look like much when pulling up, but the staff was pleasant, and the room was nice.

Studio Allston was a great value in the Boston area. Rooms were nice, spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location right on the Charles was really nice for running/walking. Good free breakfast (eggs, French toast, cereal, bagels, fruit, etc.). Bar was decent, especially if you are a beer drinker, although it closes at 9:00 every night, except Sat, when it's open until 10:00. Only major downside was that there was very little in the way of restaurants/bars/retail in the immediate vicinity. This is definitely not like staying in Boston proper, or Cambridge, where you might step out of the hotel and be in the "action." Having said that, there is the most amazing Korean shabu shabu place in the shopping center across the way. Really. I'm a chef from San Francisco and would say this place is a must go! Other than that, unless you get in the car, you're kinda stuck with the limited food the hotel offers via an app. Lastly, we had a room right next to elevators, which you can hear, quite loudly, all day and into the night. If you're sensitive to that, you may want to request that you don't get a room in that position.

easy to park and access to the room

I’ve stayed at Studio Allston 5 times now and each time I’ve been very happy with my room and the staff. Jonathan at the front desk always remembers me when I come in. That’s a big plus in my book and one of the reasons I keep coming back. The breakfast in the morning is another plus. The rooms are always clean, tidy, and a nice size. On my last stay there it was warm enough to enjoy their spacious outdoor courtyard.

Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff at check in. Comfortable bed, fairly quiet HVAC. Great big tv. Nice selection of beers in lobby. Room was clean and everything worked. A big no, however, to the friggin barn door for the bathroom that hotels must find cute but is so functionally rediculous. With it's frosted glass and 2inch gap all the way around this bathroom door affords no privacy, is clunky, awkward to open because there's no handle, and very noisy as it swings to and fro banging into the wall. When closed there is absolutely no privacy giving direct vision into bathroom when the room door to the hallway is opened.

Great location, close to colleges we visited. Breakfast was good. Food options in restaurant was also good.

The heater did not work even though the outside temperature was below 30 degrees. The room temperature was around 64 degrees. It was too cold. The hotel turned off the heater. The facility is too old.

The hotel has a unique and appealing aesthetic. The staff were exceptionally personable and helpful, making the stay enjoyable. My only two concerns were the limited availability of fresh fruit and the location of my room—situated directly above the first-floor exterior door, I frequently heard it opening and closing, which was a bit disruptive.

We had a wonderful experience

We really loved the art decor of this place. Our room had a great view of the river and a park. We loved the mural and paintings in our room and the purple chairs. It was an easy 30-minute walk to Harvard Square and a quick uber to MIT and Boston Commons. We ordered from the restaurant one of the nights and the food was really good.
