Hunter Mountainから車で10分、すぐ近くに人気のレストラン「Last Chance Antiques & Cheese Café」があり、外食も満喫できた。 キッチン設備一式もあり便利、ダブルベッド２つ・ソファ兼用ダブルベッドをフル活用して6人で泊まれたが、テーブルがなく、食事をとるのに苦労した(笑)

The staff were warm and attentive, the room was clean and comfortable, and every detail—from check-in to check-out—was handled with care. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, making it a perfect place to unwind.

They were not open when I arrived at 6:30. No one answered the phone and there was nothing indicating that after 6pm they were not staffed. I was left scrambling for a hotel room for the night.

The only reason I give and not 1 is the staff, which was good. I come to motels to sleep, and this one was noisy. The room next to us felt like they lived there which was bizzare. They were audibly banging on the tables at 10pm and I had to ask them to stop.

The Sunview motel is overall a pretty good hotel. The room was cozy, and the stay would have been above average except for the window situation. The front window by the door had very bright lights on directly outside of it all night, and the blinds (fully closed) did not effectively block out the light. Waking up at 2am looked like it was sunrise in the room. My husband and I had to sleep in the two separate beds and build pillow blockers to sleep behind so it wasn’t so bright. I would recommend the motel buy blackout curtains for the rooms if they’d like to keep the outdoor lighting so bright. One full length for the window without the AC, and one half length for above the AC unit.

This place is, in the best possible way, a blast from the past! A nice, quaint roadside motel with a mountain vibe! Great views of the Catskills from the small hill where there’s a fire pit and Adirondack chairs for relaxation and lounging. Re-read Rip Van Winkle after a fantastic dinner at Deer Mountain Inn as it got dark looking upon the mountains where the story took place. Picturesque and perfect! Had the entire motel to myself and it was so nice, quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Wonderful experience!

This is an older, two-story motel that was in excellent repair.

Exceeded our motel stay expectations by much! Super clean and large rooms for a half a price of the hotel experience. Sizable fridge and a microwave were a plus. Outdoor patio tables and chairs right on a porch for every room made an evening of cards game tons of fun. Brightly illuminated with ginormous parking area and an acre large loan.

For a midweek skiing stay there was no staff present at the office- which was never open. Key was in mailbox, turned it in to a staff member in the parking before I left. OK, but strange. The positive is that I needed to cut my trip short and was refunded the last night if my booked stay.

Perfect place to stay 10 minutes from Hunter Mountain. Dinning options very close. Town of Tannersville is walking distance from the hotel. If your looking for clean basic rooms with nobody to bother you and free parking definitely stay here. If your expecting a continental breakfast and hot towel to be delivered, this is not the place your looking for. Ski bum"s welcome....
