Walk to the beach

It was everything advertised at a great price compared to the other properties in the area. My wife and I took a quick trip for the weekend and loved the hotel. It is in a great location in relation to the beach as well as other areas on the island. We really enjoyed our stay.

They must’ve had an off weekend with plumbing in the entire building. My husband had to go across the street to use the public beach restrooms because we literally couldn’t flush the toilets in our bathroom or the main one in the lobby. The room AC was also made loud thumping noise if you set it below 71 degrees. The only positive ~ it was perfectly convenient to the beach, Fort Clinch State Park, and a few restaurants. Not sure that I would stay again.

My wife and I enjoyed the stay. Very clean and super friendly staff.

As soon as we walked in the lobby smelled amazing and was sparkling clean. Checking in was fast and efficient. Our room was huge. Its right across the road from the beach! We will definitely be back!

The location of the pool was strange but because of that probably i haf it to myself. It did need a good cleanin g. Lots of deaf insects on the

Myself and my family have stayed at this location countless times in the past and never had an issue. This time an emwrgency came up and the hotel refused to cancell my resrvation even after giving them 2 days notice prior to day of arrival. Myswlf and family will never stay therw again.

The hotel was conviently

The beds were super comfy, but sadly, the sheets had pills on them, and the shower pressure was pathetic. The staff members were amazing and kind, and the price was very affordable, so I would book again despite these two faults.

Front desk staff was pleasant. Breakfast was decent. The room was filthy. Dirty footprints all over bathroom floor, globs of soap in the sink drain, makeup smeared on light switch, MANY hairs on bed sheets, mattress cover filthy and stained, trash on floor, sticky spots on carpet, etc. This hotel is looking very worn outside the room as well, and it’s not even that old. My stay here years ago was great, but unfortunately after this stay, I won’t be back.

Staff very friendly and welcoming, good selections at breakfast, room spacious and comfortable. Great value for the money, would stay there again.

Great location across the street from the beach. Easy drive to downtown. Room was clean and spacious. Perfect, affordable hotel for the weekend.

Limited dining selections within walking distance to hotel. Front desk staff need training on appearance, greeting and operating room selection system

We loved the beach wagon the hotel supplied! It was a lifesaver!

For the price, it was just OK. Close to the beach. The property has been renovated however the bathrooms are a bit crusty, the shower handles had build up, and the corners of the bathroom floors were dirty with hair, powder, etc. Though the rooms were recently renovated, there was a very strong musty smell in the room. VERY strong. I woke up with a runny nose. There was a constant rattling/windy noise in the room, as if the window did not properly fit in the window sill or needed repair, etc. Additionally, the complimentary breakfast was very lacking. They were completely out of silverware and everything was just very meh. Needless to say, we grabbed a prepackaged yogurt and left. While eating, the overwhelming smell of air freshener downstairs permeated the air which you notice upon checkin as well (it’s as if they’re trying to cover up the musty smell). Overall, it was just OK.

We enjoyed a budget friendly weekend to celebrate our 28th anniversary. It is only a block away and an easy walk to the beach. The staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful. We will likely return for future trips.

Above average and close to beach which is a plus

What I didn’t like was being charge for parking. Otherwise everything was good.
