Wonderful hotel and staff. The room was so beautiful and clean. Great location!! Breakfast and dinner at Benjamin steak house was excellent.

日本人として、初めてマンハッタンへ旅行に来られる方へお勧めしたいホテルです。 初めてのニューヨーク旅行でとても快適に過ごすことができました。 宿泊前、また宿泊中のトラブルに対して連絡とても柔軟な対応を受けて頂けました。 中の内装やベッドメイキング、バスルームは日本のホテルに引けを取らないほど清潔でした。 図書館やグランドセントラルまでも徒歩で行ける上、Whole Foods Marketも歩いて行ける点も最高でした。 そして何よりフロントスタッフ、清掃スタッフの皆さんがとても親切にコミュニケーションを取ってくれたことが本当に嬉しかったです。 （私の下手な英語にも関わらず、とても真摯に対応して下さいました） 皆さんのおかげで本当に素敵な旅行になりました。 As a Japanese, I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Manhattan for the first time. I had a very comfortable stay on my first trip to New York. The staff was very flexible in responding to any problems we had before and during our stay. The decor, bed making, and bathrooms were as clean as any hotel in Japan. It was also great to be able to walk to the library and Grand Central, as well as Whole Foods Market. And most of all, I was really happy that the front desk staff and cleaning staff were very kind and communicative. (You were very sincere with me despite my poor English) Thanks to all of you, I had a really wonderful trip.

Schönes Hotel, wo man merkt, dass es dieses Jahr renoviert wurde. Perfekte Lage, man läuft nur 2 Minuten zur Grand Central und trotzdem hört man keinen Verkehr im Zimmer. Durch die perfekte Lage ist man immer schnell an seinem Ziel. Die Mitarbeiter sind alle sehr freundlich, das Zimmer und Hotel war immer sauber. Würde ich beim nächsten Urlaub wieder buchen.

Was so looking forward to our stay. The communication from the hotel before we arrived was amazing and the pictures of our room convinced us to stay with this choice over another option. When we arrived…. We were greeted and assigned a room that had a view of scaffolding and hair all over the bathroom floor. No worries they said we will move you and they did super quickly we were so grateful. Until we tried to look out the window… which was painted over ensuring minimal natural light. We were only staying for 1 night so we frankly gave up trying. If we’d been staying for longer we would have moved to our other choice. On checking out we were initially told it was our fault for booking via Expedia, and offered 2 bottles of water as compensation. Later the hotel manager reached out with a lovely apology and refund for part of our stay which was appreciated. Some work to do that’s for sure but potential

Recently renovated, larger room and bath than a standard Manhattan room, close to multiple subway lines. Very nice staff and helpful.

We rented 3 rooms at the Chemists Club and we were all impressed with the rooms, the cleanliness, the restaurant that had amazing breakfast available for a nominal price . I chose this hotel for the location and the reviews and would definitely stay there again. The staff was super helpful, kind and courteous.

Overall good — nice, BIG room for NYC and it’s nicely renovated. Staff was nice as well. Super convenient to Grand Central Station. WiFi was good. Loved that they had ESPN and ESPN2. Opportunities: I didn’t like that there was no security in the elevator where you have to have a key card to get in. Anybody could get in the elevator and go up to any floor. Also, it would’ve been nice to have more washcloths which I did request. Also, it would’ve been nice to have been asked or have the service where we could’ve gotten help getting tickets to shows, etc..

Comfortable boutique hotel, great location, really enjoyed Benjamins firndunner and enjoyed Benjamins for breakfast.

Great hotel that is One block away from Grand Central Station. Benjamin Steakhouse Prime is around the corner and is delicious. Not the one connected to the hotel.

To say this hotel is a hidden gem would be an understatement. I have stayed in dozens of nice hotels in NYC and this far surpassed all of them. My room was twice the size of any room I've ever had. Giant marble bathroom, great bed and a gorgeous room. Honestly I was shocked. The staff was so friendly and the hotel was quiet. I have never stayed in the midtown area but my daughter moved to Murray Hill and The Chemists'Club had great reviews. I was skeptical, but it truly was amazing. I will be staying here from now on. Highly recommend if you need to stay in the Midtown area.
