Everything was very nice except the hallways outside the rooms. Same dirt on floors when we checked in was still there when we checked out.

We enjoy the surrounding grounds and atmosphere. Dog friendly. They are currently renovating rooms.

Shower water pressure not good. Coffee machine not working etc

Stayed here several times. Always satisfied and would highly recommend.

HouseKeeping was not great..had to wait long for a bath towel and when they did come, they brought a hand towel

Hotel getting renovated. Doing construction at 7 am. Can here all the way down the hall. Shower water pressure bad, and took forever to get hot water. Room renovated but still had new paint type odors

This is my 2nd stay at The Penn Stater. It's a great ootion as a Penn State parent! They are currently renovating, but it has not been any inconvenience! Looking forward to staying again

the property is beautiful, but pretty outdated. The room did not have adequate shower products. the staff was fantastic and accommodating of pets. the pool area was not actually what it looked like in photos, and the hot tub was gutted. the hotel could be a total gem, but was overpriced for what it currently is.

Always loved our stays at the Penn Stater! Disappointed overall with our stay this time. Our room had a view of the roof. Hotel amenities provided were underwhelming. Plastic cups, makeup removal, etc were not replenished.

I liked the closeness of the facility to PSU. However, the facility is very dated and felt dirty.

We really enjoyed our stay. The hotel was a little dated, but they are doing renovations, so I'm sure it will be extra lovely! The deluxe double was very spacious for our family! Will definitely look at staying again!!

Very old property. All carpets (rooms, hallways) are stained, furniture (pull out couch) is very old and didn’t fit together properly, the equipment in the gym is either broken (lots of broken knobs, etc) or doesn’t work smoothly (e.g., parts that should move smoothly grind along their path), there’s no water in the gym, the floor in the gym feels dirty, the coffee next to the front desk was empty or there was no cream. The beds were fine. The hvac was quiet and worked well. I won’t return to this hotel. VERY disappointing!!

We were staying in the area for my daughter's horse show. The price was very high for the room we reserved. The double beds were very small and the room was outdated. The WiFi and tv was poor quality. I was disappointed that it was non-refundable because her horse show organization offered much more affordable options at other local hotels.

Great place near Beaver Stadium.
