I stayed at this hotel a couple times after it opened, and the quality has seriously declined since then. There are areas where obvious repairs need to be made, the food and drink has slipped significantly, and it overall needs attention.

Someone tried to come into my room in middle of the night. Thankfully I had the deadbolt on. Hotel didn’t seem least bit concerned. Shrugged it off as if that was normal. Meanwhile I was terrified.

Great location. Tiny rooms. Two people in a full bed is not ok. Really only good for one person. Not sure why TV was on a rolling stand that takes up space instead of on the wall.

The staff went above and beyond to make my stay a pleasant experience. From the front desk to the bar staff. I was very impressed!

Great staff, front desk and door men are great. Hallways and elevators seem somewhat dated. I can't figure how to get to the back restaurant- I'm sure instructions are available, but it just doesn't feel very inviting. It looks nice when you look at it from the outside... Overall, I really enjoyed my hotel stay, the one thing that would really make it better is being able to screen share from my laptop to the TV. There really isn't any way to do it through the Wi-Fi.

I checked in after a long day of work & it was in the 90s in NYC & my room’s air conditioning wasn’t working, they sent someone to fix but they said it would take a while for the room to cool down wouldn’t change me to a room that was already cool because the rooms in my price were booked. So they wouldn’t “upgrade” me to a higher priced room - which is pretty awful- they said deal or find another hotel. So, I promptly requested a refund & found another hotel. And btw, rooms are really shabby - much better hotels around that actually have nice staff

Loved the Standard. Awesome vibe and staff. Room was spacious with a shower and tub. Had a great and relaxed breakfast the next morning at the hotel. 10/10 recommend.

Loved everything except our room (which I paid an upgrade fee for). I had a non-existent view (lower floor AND overlooking a dark alley). I was paying for the view - really unhappy that my daughter’s first nyc trip involved a significant miss in the expectation set by the hotel itself

Pros: The front desk is absolutely wonderful! So kind and friendly and helpful. They even surprised me with a birthday treat! The location is fantastic. Close to everything. Day passes for Crunch Fitness. So convenient. Not noisy at all! Great sleep. They give you two Saratoga waters each day. So lovely! Cons: The hotel room is just so tiny. It always felt weirdly a bit humid...even with the AC blasted the whole time. Blackout shades great except for the tiny corners you can't shut all the way so the bright light seeps in. The shower curtain (as cool looking as it is) does not keep water from getting on the bathroom tile. It makes no sense. The TV service goes in and out. I don't know if I'd stay there again, but it was a good stay, nonetheless.

The hotel is always superbly clean and maintained but above all the staff is warm and inviting. Highly recommend to whether going solo or with the fam. Don’t think it’ll ever stay at another hotel when I’m in the city. LOVE

The staff was very excellent. They were extremely friendly and always helpful. The bed was super comfortable and room made up perfectly every day. Will definitely return.

Always will stay here when I visit NYC!!!!
