Guests must contact the cruise office 24 hours in advance of arrival with their passport information, birthday, and Visa expiry details to register with the Halong Bay Port Authority. A valid passport is required for all guests and must be presented at time of boarding. Children must board with their parents. Guests who are denied boarding for not presenting valid passports for inspection by police and port authorities will not receive refunds. The Full Board rate plan begins at lunch on departure date and ends after buffet brunch on the final day of the cruise. This cruise ship's itinerary includes the following: 1st Day: Arrive at Tuan Chau Wharf by noon for embarkation. After lunch, cruise to South East Halong Bay, passing by Chicken Rock, Finger Islet, and Frog Islet. At approximately 3 PM, arrive at Sung Sot Cave (Surprising Cave) to explore stalagmite and stalactite formation and enjoy Halong Bay views from a 720-stair climb (rubber shoes recommended). Reboard for relaxation on the sun deck. Activities, dinner, and overnight aboard the ship. 2nd Day for guests staying 1 night: After Tai Chi and breakfast, head to Luon Cave for rowing boat/ kayaking or head to Ti Top Island for swimming and hiking, and Halong Bay views from a 430-stair climb. After check-out, buffet brunch is served as the boat returns to Tuan Chau by 10:45 AM. Shuttle van services transport guests to Hanoi by 3:30 PM. 2nd Day for guests staying 2 nights: After Tai Chi and breakfast, board the day trip boat for trip to Cua Van Floating fishing villages and Luon Cave. Enjoy rowing boat or kayaking, followed by lunch on day trip boat. Return to cruise at 3:30 PM. Activities, dinner, and overnight aboard the ship. 3rd Day for guests staying 2 nights: After Tai Chi and breakfast, head to Luon Cave for row boating or kayaking, or head to Ti Top Island for swimming and hiking and Halong Bay views from a 430-stair climb. After check-out, buffet brunch is served as the boat returns to Tuan Chau by 10:45 AM. Shuttle van services transport guests to Hanoi by 3:30 PM. Guests who have flights from Hanoi after disembarkation should notify cruise staff. Guests must contact this cruise ship 3 days in advance to arrange transportation (surcharge) from Hanoi to Ha Long, which is 2.5 hours away by car using the new highway. A roundtrip daily transfer departs between 8:30 AM and 9 AM. The fee is USD 55 per adult and USD 35 per child ages 5-12. Following the cruise, a van will transport guests back to Hanoi. A roundtrip daily private car from Hanoi to Ha Long departs at 9 AM. The fee is USD 170 per car (maximum 2 passengers) or USD 185 per car (maximum 3 passengers).
