Lobby is very nice. Gardens were beautiful. Staff were kind but not very competent. Check in took 10 mins because he didn’t know how to work the system. The room numbers make no sense at all. It’s a large property horizontally so expect a long walk to your room. $25 to park. Outside the lobby is a dated, damaged, smelly hellscape that screams “Demolish me and start over!” Torn wallpaper. Water stains on floor and ceiling. Ice dispenser area smelled like a gym locker room..
Inside the room was not much better. It smelled like old people. Blood stains or red paint on the carpet. Some brown fluid was stained on the wall. Air conditioner did not work. Yes I pressed the separate button that powers the system first. It blew for 4 hours and it was the same 76 degrees it was when I first turned it on. Had to buy a fan at Walmart and open the window to even attempt sleep. So I got to smell the diesel exhaust from the 5 freeway all night. No screen on the windows to keep out the bugs. Windows open meant lights from the parking lot shinned into the room. Got no sleep at all. The bar soap was the size of a wedding mint, and about as good at cleaning your hands. Furniture was fine. Lamps were dated. Horrible experience Waste of money.
