近くの部屋が18時過ぎだと言うのに工事中でうるさかった。工事のため廊下が埃っぽく汚かった。

Simply AMAZING! Can’t say enough good things about this place. It’s a former palace so the facade is very charming. The service was incredible from check in, room service, restaurant staff, and my favorite place the front lobby lounge. It is honestly a place where you can escape the bustling city of Cairo and still feel like you’re on vacation. Everything was reasonably priced and location was perfect. I will definitely stay here again on our next visit to the great city of Cairo!

The Realestate is wonderful and Rudwa in reception was exceptional. Front desk were great. Room service folks were great when we needed them. Front area cafe attendants were my favorite people except one complainer. Arabian/Egyptian nights people were great. Husam and Tarek managers in promenade were great BUT half the people wearing blue shirts in the promenade area were unprofessional. They fought with each other everyday. They didn’t get the orders right and they were a pain in the ass in every way to me and to others. Staff disagreements and problems should be behind closed doors. For quality Marriott location and beautiful room, it’s too bad those few staff members left a bad taste in our mouths. Also when the food sucked the orders came wrong, myself and my wife ordered from Talabat (an uber eats like app), the front gates stopped the order and it was an ordeal to get a bill boy to deliver it. Even though we paid everyone great tips there was a common feel from all staff members in the bloody hotel that they are the guests and we are bothering them. I’m Egyptian and my wife is Irish and we had the same experiences separately. That’s why the rest if the rating dropped to 6 out of 10. Bottom line we weren’t all that impressed for a Marriott. Oh and they are constantly drilling and fixing stuff. Constantly.

The breakfast was amazing, the restaurant selections were varied, we ate at the Egyptian nights restaurant and it was very good. The main building (the palace) is very beautiful. It’s a great location, the staff were wonderful, and I felt very safe. Would not hesitate to stay here again.

The hotel has positive vibes all over, specious cleanliness is perfect, people working in the hotel are more than friendly, the food at the hotel restaurants has wide variety and really tasty, location is perfect, very pleasant stay. Highly recommended.

The hotel's location is another highlight, with easy access to nearby attractions. It’s the perfect base for exploring the rich culture and history of Egypt while still enjoying the comforts of a high-end resort. If you're looking for a getaway that offers both beauty and impeccable service, the Marriott Omar Al Khayyam in Egypt is the place to be.

This hotel, in my personal opinion, is the best in Cairo. In the 20 years I’ve been coming to Egypt this hotel is by far my favorite. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming! The food is fantastic, I recommend the pigeon. The rooms are well maintained and the entertainment for Oktoberfest this year had us dancing until well after midnight. I would also recommend you buy liquor at Drinkies across the street because at the hotel the imported liquor is a bit expensive, the local wine and beer is delicious and affordable. This hotel and the people that make it work will always be one of my favorite things about Egypt. And for goodness sake, be friendly! Egyptians are loving people and this hotel reflects the culture perfectly.
