Staying at the Newburgh Inn is only a last choice resort. The area around the property is quite sketchy. I would only recommend staying at the Newburgh Inn if you want to save a dollar or have nowhere else to stay.

Absolutely disgusting.

We could not even check in. The lobby was dark and the door was locked with a "closed" sign on it. Need a refund of amount charged. Later learned that property is being renovated room by room. Saw broken windows, etc. as we drove around the place. Looked awful. Need that refund.

The "owner" that claimed to not know how to charge my credit card, tried to send a copy of my credit card to someone in west point before ever asking me for my name or my ID. When I questioned it, he said he didn't;t know how to use the system, then shortly after, claimed to be the owner. He was very sketchy. I ended up leaving and going to another hotel because something didn't right.

Inn was under construction. Front staff seemed shocked that I would have a reservation (booked through Expedia) and they were unable to find my reservation. Was told I was being put in one room, however that room was occupied and got put into another room. No soap in dispenser. Truly did not seem like they were open for business

There was confusion upon arrival where I was no where to be found in the system, however, the friendly hotel concierge made it work by reaching out to another hotel facility to ensure we no longer had to wait for the room I already paid for. The shower was nice, someone was already previously logged into Netflix (also nice) and we had everything we needed for the short night stay (easy to extend checkout by calling on personal phone due to no landline present).

Needs work. People in next room were nousy all night. Ugh!

The Inn states that it is undergoing renovation. It certainly is in need of that. The property borders on looking shabby!! I am disinclined to stay here again.

My stay at the Newburgh Inn was enjoyable. We were able to watch the Yankee game at the bar/lounge and enjoy some beers. The owners are really good people, very polite and courteous. Overall we had a great experience here and I am definitely returning to stay. The lounge they have is really nice as well! They have salsa nights on Fridays and can host events/parties. They get a food truck to park outside to cater to the party people. I’ll be coming by for salsa night !

The worst hotel I have ever been is terrible. Very dirty. Service is terrible. No microwave sheets are dirty. Stain has a funny smell.

One of those times when I didn’t go by bad reviews. Don’t know how other rooms are but ours was perfect, new and clean the only minus that there is no microwave but it’s no biggie really. Nice and quite location, from check in to check out the personal was polite and thoughtful

From the photos on the website, I expected much more. Torn and dirty curtains, no heat, filthy walls, old furniture and carpet, stained bathtub & sink.
