Inexpensive but nice

The bathroom was old the glass door to bathroom was scary I that it was going to break. Cracks on shower floor. Smell of mildew because the water from shower was leading to bedroom carpet. Not worthy of the rating they gave it.

Comfortable and clean.

I liked you can walk to the Wabash Trail nearby, it was clean, and staff were very helpful.

The hotel felt like it had once been a nice hotel but has been allowed to start going into disarray. Broken toilet paper holder in the room and doorframe had a long black streak on it. No secondary lock on one of our rooms. Staff was hard to understand. Serviceable enough for somewhere to sleep, but a little dusappointing.

Great room with a comfortable bed. The location is right in the midst of shopping and dining options.

Overall a clean and quiet hotel for an affordable hotel. The breakfast was pretty good too. Really close to the Springfield Historical area and Route 66 and across the street from a Walmart, Target and restaurant. Would stay again.

Other than my room having a very acrid smell it was a lovely stay.

It was great for my needs, clean and neat.

We had reserved a room with 1 queen bed. When we checked in, the person at the front desk asked if we wanted to upgrade to a 2 queen bed room at no additional charge. I agreed. In the hallway on the way to the room, the carpet looked very worn out (maybe just the pattern). Got into the room, and there is food from the last guest on the floor, and the refrigerator wobbled making it difficult to open. In the bathroom, the shower head is so low that I hit my head on it while trying to wash my hair (I'm only 5'7"), the shower door leaked to the point that there was standing water on the floor when I got out of the shower creating a slip hazard. There was also tile along the baseboard in the bathroom that was coming apart. The electrical outlets were completely inadequate. It was so bad that the had the alarm clock across the room from the bed and it was plugged into the lamp that was over there. The advertise that they have queen size beds, they do not. These are full size beds. We have a queen at home, and we are not sleeping on top of each other every night. The only was that this property has as high of a review score as it does is because the staff is making fake account to give them good reviews. I would not send my worst enemy to stay at this place, let alone someone that I cared about. This place needs to be gutted and start over.

I was unsure as to what I would find when I arrived. I was very pleasantly greeted by the staff at desk. They got me my key and gave me a complementary bottle of cold water, which was available daily at the asking. They told me about the breakfast hours and directed me to my room. The hot breakfast offered waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, yougart, coffee and juice. Quite tasty. The room was a king, big bath/shower with adequate storage for a four day stay. Pricing was fine, except that daily room prices are reflected in what events are going in the area and vary. I would recommend this hotel; however, there is no pool.

The room is really tiny and they don’t clean everyday just if you stay more than that

In general room was clean and in good condition. Cleaners need to check microwave. Had dirty plate in it.

For a non smoking hotel, our room REAKED of stale smoke. The shower was disgusting and you could tell things hadnt really been cleaned. Bed was alright, tv options not great, mini fridge was not cool. Ac worked and front desk were polite.

I highly recommend staying here. New ownership and they have turned this hotel around and very well done.

Bed bugs! Don’t stay there!

There is a train track that runs behind the building, but train didn’t bother us much. It’s in convenient area for shopping and access to highway and Chatham.

This was our second stay at the property. Friendly staff and clean rooms.

The saff was wonderful. Room was sufficient, good beds and linens. Breakfast good.
