エクスペディアで予約した金額よりも随分と、支払額が増えてしまった30パーセント以上。食事は自分には濃い過ぎて合わなかった。改めて、ロンドンの物価の高さ、円の安さを実感した次第。

場所とスタッフはよかったんです、ただ部屋に冷蔵庫ないので、夏はちょっとした食べもの困るかなと思います チェックアウト時の請求金額が違ってまして ホテルコムの請求金額を写真で撮りましたので よかったです 海外の滞在は必ず全てチェックしたほうがよろしいかと思います

Fantastic hotel, most helpful staff I've had at a hotel stay. Even got a beautiful chocolate cake for my wife's birthday. Couldn't recommend more.

It’s the second time I have stopped here and I love it. The friendliness and service of the staff is exceptional and the hotel has a lovely old fashioned but well maintained feel about it. A little time warp. The rooms are great and the air conditioning was a real treat.

Great location, excellent, very helpful staff. Shower needs to be fixed. The glass partition only covers half the tub, so water keeps spilling on the floor

My husband and I have stayed at many hotels in many places all over the world and I truly believe The Rubens at the Palace has the best staff of any we have ever experienced. When you stay with them you are truly treated like royalty. They genuinely appreciate you choosing to stay with them and do everything they can to ensure you know that. The hotel itself was beautiful and you can't beat the location, looking directly over Buckingham Palace and within walking distance of so many great restaurants and shops and the local subway station is within eyeshot of the hotel. We toured most of the city and would choose to stay in this area over any other. The rooms were incredibly clean and super charming. The double bed felt a bit tight for my husband and myself but other than that there are literally no complaints. We will 100% stay here again next time we are in London.

Helpful staff, always offering to assist you with any requirements. Very central so easy to get around either by walking, public transport.

Hotel is beautiful. Staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are excellent. Food in the bar is exceptional, best pizza and best fries ever. The only negatives are: 1) lobby is small with little sitting area. As such, it is often crowded and luggage is an obstacle until stored away. My suspicion is that the area used for tea was once a lobby area, but now is a money generating area. 2) the bathroom tub / shower arrangement is a nightmare. The overhead shower floods the entire bathroom, if used. The handheld shower is the only one usable to avoid flooding the entire bathroom, because of the partial glass sheet on the bath to presumably prevent such flooding does not do an adequate job for us North Americans who are unaccustomed to this configuration. Next time we will book a room with a separate shower

From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by Mr. Jan and welcomed into the lobby. Joe at the front desk was excellent at helping us feel welcome. This hotel is perfectly located yet felt quiet. The Tea Room and the Lounge are perfect for the full London experience. For our first time in London, we felt right at home. Absolutely delightful stay. Thank you to the entire staff for a great time.

The Rubens is a very nice upscale hotel with a great location in the heart of Westminster and literally across the street from Buckingham Palace. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The rooms are clean and comfortable although very small. The food, unfortunately, is very mediocre although priced as if it was excellent. The continental breakfast buffet is the worst I've seen in a hotel of this category. The croissants were fresh and good but there were hardly any choices and everything else was mediocre from the fruit to the rubbery ham and tasteless cheese. We were told every morning that we could add other food for additional cost but the last morning we were told that eggs were included in the continental breakfast price. I don't know which is true since I didn't test that statement.

Great location, great staff!

We had a delightful one night stay at the Rubens, centrally located right across from Buckingham Palace’s Royal Mews or stables. The hotel is beautifully decorated and the breakfast was served in a gorgeous room with booths and chandeliers. We were traveling with our teen son so the suite with a pull out couch made it a high value fit for us so we could stay in one room. The room decoration was festive and royal feeling. The sweet baked goods were a pleasant surprise. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel was conveniently located near Buckingham Palace and the entire stay was a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly, efficient, and extra attentive to any needs you might have. I highly recommend having afternoon tea here. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Lovely location. Room a bit dated and not always in a charming or characterful way - e.g. brown patterned carpet, likely from the 1980s. At check out I was asked for a 15 pound a night “tip” or service charges and to cover lobby and door staff! I felt awkward asking for it to be removed from the account, but really at 250+ a night I expect staff to be part of the deal. Is tipping at hotel really to become a normal thing in London?
