建物もスタッフも食事もロケーションも、すべてが最高でした！ベネチアにまた来るときは必ず泊まります！

Very clean, very good location near the center. Staff were all friendly and kind. Room with balcony had nice view of canal. Staying at the hotel was great choice for us.

バスタブ希望でしたが、シャワーのみでした。 やはり日本人はバスタブで疲れを取りますので、シャワーだけですと 少し物足りなさがのこります。

料金はハイシズンド、ピークのため高めでしたが、一度はヴェネツィア、水の都に行って大変よっかったです。夏は運河が臭いと聞いていましたが、今回はそれも無く、大変良い思いでがいっぱいでした。アンネックスルームまでちょっと時間がかかります。お年寄りにはおすすめいたしません。でも運河カナルビユーのルームには大満足。 朝食も満足です。スタッフの対応も良いし、親切でした。

ベネチア　アカデミア地区での宿泊は3回目ですが、とてもリラックスしたホテルでフロントの対応も良く、これまでで一番良かったです。確かに料金は安くないですがベネチアでは仕方ないと思っています。今回大人3名でしたので４人部屋を予約しましたが、通常のダブルベットルームにシングルベッドを２個追加した部屋でしたので広くは感じませんでした、また使用しなかった残りのベットは簡易ベットで硬いので大人が寝るのはきついかも知れません。朝食は種類は多くないですが、ホテルの部屋数が少ないので静かな雰囲気で食べることが出来ました。今回も車で行ったのですが、ホテル提携割引のある駐車場はローマ広場の私が停めた駐車場でなかったので事前に調べていけば良かったです。

サンマルコ広場まで水上バスで２駅。アカデミア橋のそばにあるので中心部の喧噪からは逃れられます。ペギー・グッゲンハイム・コレクションにも近く、意外と便利だなと思いました。このホテルは、ホスピタリティが行き届いているようで、こじんまりとした温かいホテルでした。

色々良かったですが　特にスタッフの対応が良かった　小さいホテルなので私達の顔を覚えてくれて親切にしてくれました。サンマルコ広場までも徒歩で行けたしとても楽しい三日間でした。このホテルを選んで良かったです。　

Fabulous! Perfectly located away from the crowds but easy to get to the sights. Lovely hotel. Lovey staff who had some great recommendations. Breakfast was also great with lots of choice. We will come again

Place is a great value, location and exceptional staff.

In addition to the hotel being perfect, it was for us in the perfect location. Quiet but still an easy walk to other areas in Venice. We won't search for a hotel next time we visit venice, we'll stay at the American Dinesen.

The property was clean

Such a great neighborhood, hidden far enough away from the tourist crowds while not being too far from tourist attractions. The staff is kind, helpful and very pleasant. Located a very short walk from the Academia water-bus station. The hotel is in the Dorsoduro neighborhood, full of charm and unique shops and delicious restaurants. We opted for the superior room with canal view and we are so glad we spent the extra money. We had our own very little terrace on a side canal and it was so magical. Jet lag had me up at weird hours and I got to watch early morning FedEx , linen and wine deliveries all done by boat. Our room was small like I imagine most Venice hotel rooms are but the luxurious and updated features made us feel like we were in the lap of luxury.

Gorgeous boutique hotel in the heart of Venice. Everything was excellent. Great option for families and couples alike.

A charming hotel, the staff was great and our balcony to the canal was perfect.

We absolutely loved our stay with hotel American! The service and rooms were phenomenal. The location is suburb. We will definitely stay at this location again. We highly recommend!

The pros: quiet location near Accademia bridge, clean and modern facilities, excellent buffet breakfast, friendly staff. The cons: we got a superior canal-facing room and it was tiny. I mean tiny, even compared to Italian standards. There was no place to even put our luggage — we had to store luggage underneath the bed. Also, the layout of the room wasn’t ideal. There was a strange step/raised area in the middle of the room with a safety light on either side. The lights were so bright we had to put books in front of them in order to sleep.
