Rooms are very big, breakfast was good. It's a solid choice for a stay :)

The rooms are dated and worn but they all overlook a huge central atrium that is a plant filled time capsule from decades ago. There is a fountain and water course flowing through the atrium. Our room had a large "office" suite with a desk that looked like we could start approving mortgages in a bank. Two TVs and Three sinks! Very average hotel breakfast and plenty of (paid) parking. Despite the rooms showing their age we would stay again because of the location near 80 and some restaurants we like and because the place has more character than other similar chain hotels.

Do not go to this hotel if you are looking to go swimming! They only allow one hour of swim per room, per day! They wouldn’t budge not even for 1 hr and 10 mins. Most of the staff were rude and not too welcoming.

Liked welcoming atmosphere and atrium

This location is great for traveling; easy on and off the highway. It's unique for sure. The suites are spacious but outdated. The walls are thin and the beds back into the beds in the room next to you and you can hear everything. We were next to incredibly loud people and it was not great. Also, the TVs say have Netflix/Prime available on the remotes but they didn't work, which was frustrating. The hotel is relatively clean but heavily scented, which gave me a headache, as I'm highly sensitive to perfumes and fragrances. One exterior side door on the first floor never locked after 11:00 pm and was ajar all night. Also, we were charged for parking ($15/night) and were required to put a $100 deposit down upon arrival for purchases (which we didn't make any during our stay). I was not informed of these charges prior to booking or in any of my reservation information. We stayed in a Marriott Spring Hill Suites a few nights earlier and not only was the nightly rate less expensive, parking was free and we only had to put a credit card on file for purchases, not pre-pay for anything. Because of this, and the modern amenities at Spring HIll, we may opt for those moving forward. We've stayed in Parsippany in the past and enjoyed it, but this visit left much to be desired.

Th rooms were nice. They had provided shampoo, conditioner and body wash in the shower unfortunately the body wash pump was stuck down. We requested to get it fixed 2 times while we were there, but it never got fixed. They also served breakfast, and it was great, but watch out for Nancy I believe she was there to make sure the people eating breakfast were actually guests of which I understand but the way she went about it was all wrong.

The property is always great, but the amount of unsupervised children running around screaming in the hallways after 9 pm is ridiculous. Honestly, a school playground has more supervision and is calmer/quieter.

Need renovations & the bed was broken in my room.

The first room we were checked into the toilet was leaking all over the floor, they put me into another room and the shower head did not work, we didn’t realize this until after we came back from their pool which was anything but clean. The pool was murky, unclear and clammy feeling when you got out, needless to say it smelled musty in the pool so we decided to leave, it was just too much to take. As for the shower, a mechanic came and said it could not be fixed until the next day and they refused to give us a new room because I have a bad back and I was not gonna take a bath because the bathtub was dirty and that’s how it was when we moved to the room. I had my elderly mother with me and she couldn’t sit in it or stoop down so we had to just wipe up and hope they would come and fix it the next day. No one came until about 1pm to tell us they would move us to another room though we called at 8am that morning to see if the shower head would be fixed. We had a miserable time at the hotel. We ran late the next day because moving to our next room to finally shower put us behind on our scheduled activities. I would never refer any friends or family to this place, we had a nightmare of a time here and it wasn’t cheap.

This was one of the worse experiences I've ever had at Embassy suites. The staff from overnight was rude, the room was dirty and the smell of my pillow cases smelled like nothing but sweat! Terrible!!
