The most outstanding feature of this property is their staff. They were courteous and considerate and even changed our room after we checked in because we did not like the originally assigned room mainly because of where it was situated. I think this is one of the cleanest hotel in its class that i have stayed at. The rooms are spacious clean. If i am ever back in Castlegar, i am definitely staying again.

Our experience was very nice. We had one of the themed rooms with pool access which was really nice. On the second day we had an issue with the toilet so the moved us to one of the other themed rooms for the rest of our stay. The Super Hero room and Harry Potter rooms were both a lot of fun for our kids. Made an especially fun stay. The breakfast was also great and had something for everyone. The highlight was the pool with the slide. Our kids couldn’t get enough and just went up and down over and over again. If you’re looking for a deep pool to swim and play, this is t it. It’s mostly a slide and a shallow area for toddlers. The hit top was good, but could have been hotter. I would say if we came back to Castlegar we would return. It was easy access to all the wonderful activities that were present in town and surrounding areas.

Short of staff, just one lady running around to manage front desk and breakfast as well. Not her fault but one person cannot manage both works.

Good for family out-trip as there is a swimming pool for everyone.

Nice clean room. Loved the mountain views. Comfortable bed. Very quiet. Breakfast was very busy our first morning but staff made every effort to refill. Good selection. Enjoyable stay.

Hot tub jets weren’t functioning Hot tub needed cleaning Pool was cold Pool needed cleaning Room had no hot water. Stag was helpful and moved us to another room Hotel over all is very tired.

Clean large room, although noisy at times as window overlooked indoors pool with noisy bathers. Staff were very helpful. Breakfast was basic but passable. Ideal for restaurant next door.

Rooms are unusual, bathrooms are tiny with beside bed? Dated but for a night ok Only booked the place because of the pool/slide….unfortunately due too poor parenting and bad decisions made to bring a young child into the hot tub it was closed from 5 pm on….ugh offfered a late checkout but wanted to get home ..in hind sight should have taken it .. breakfast room so small had to wait 1 hr for the pancake machine cup line up.. just saying

Very clean room. Staff were helpful and friendly, parking was easy.

Disappointed with we had left two expensive items in the room and have called the hotel repeatedly they refuse to respond . These items total over 500$ …. Feels like theft .

Had to ask to have room cleaned at 3:00 in the afternoon after our first night stay on a 2 day stay! Noisy pipes that rattled all night long both nights. Had an extra $100 added to my bill when I checked my Visa charge for no reason! Would not stay here!!

The pool is not as large as the pictures show but more importantly, the pool was very cold. We were unable to get into it

The hotel is very run down. The room smelled of smoke. The mattress was extremely uncomfortable, so bad that it made sleep completely impossible. There was NO hot water, so a bath or shower was out of the question. The breakfast was abysmal - a stale bagel and weak coffee. Not that I wpuld have used it, but the waterslide and pool were also out of commission. Stay away!!!
