Great place. Very accommodating. Clean. Easy trip to VT!

Good breakfast, great service, great location

I have stayed at this property many times, and I really have only one complaint about this hotel. Every morning, the cleaning staff pushes all the service carts into the hallway in preparation for room cleaning. The problem with this action is that it creates a fire hazard at this point, as it blocks the front and side exit and makes it difficult for people to pass by this area. The staff has been doing this for years and I can only think they have never thought to keep the carts in the service room until needed and not bring them out in the morning and cause a fire hazard.

Check in employees are too busy with their phones in their faces to even acknowledge the fact that someone is walking in or past them.

The property was very clean and all the employees were very nice. Everyone one spoke to me frequently. Nice breakfast. Pink lemonade and ice water in the lobby available at all times. Even cookies available at the desk upon checking and out. I enjoyed my stay.

Wonderful hotel. Great staff and very clean comfortable place to stay. A lot of great amenities including a gym, water and lemonade on top, and cookies when you first check in. The staff were very friendly and receptive. The breakfast was good and the hotel room was everything we needed. They even included makeup remover wipes which I thought was very thoughtful. Very nice stay I would highly recommend.

The beds are comfortable and the rooms are quiet. The halls and decorating are dated and a bit dimly lit; the ice machine wasn’t working nor the computer in the “business” section, but the location is very good and the breakfast is good! And the rates were fair! This is my second stay here and I would stay again.

The check in process was seamless and the staff was beyond friendly and helpful. The room was awesome and clean, the bed was ultra comfortable. The only complaint I have was the water pressure wasn’t great. The breakfast was the best I have had at a hotel in a long time.

I always enjoy staying here. The staff are kind and the room has what we need for a peaceful night’s sleep.

Friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, comfy beds, clean, and great breakfast - would easily stay here again!

We were in town visiting our daughter in college. The hotel is conveniently located and a decent place to stay. We just had a few issues: the drain in our bathroom sink was broken so the water just filled up every time we used it. It would drain back down overnight. That would leave a filthy mess. The TV is strange. To put any channel on you have to use a -1. So if you want to watch channel 7, it's 7-1 on the remote. Never heard of that before and it took a call to the desk and a visit to get it going for us. Also, the bedside lamps do NOT have USB chargers so make sure you bring a charging block for your phones. The other outlets don't hold the blocks tight, however, and we found ours would fall out. Overall a decent, clean, comfortable place to stay but it definitely needs some updating. Oh! Dogs stay free so that's a major plus!

The room was clean and beds were comfortable. It was quiet. Only complaint was breakfast was suppose to be served until 10 am and we went up front at 9:40 and there was a sign saying closed to cleaning. We were unable to grab a cup of coffee and a small bite for our trip.

We stay at this location only b/c if its proximity to VT and we are only there 1 or 2 nights maximum. It gets the job done, but isn't a place we are excited to stay at.

I liked the proximity to Virginia Tech. Breakfast was really good. Staff are friendly. The room bathroom did not have a fan, so that is problematic for mildew on the shower curtain and tub base. Overall, a pleasant stay.

The staff was very helpful and professional.

Worst experience ever! The hotel charged us almost $200 more than the price on the reservation we had via Expedia. After numerous attempts with Expedia support, we still won’t get the refund back. What a scam!
