Great hotel located bang slap in the middle of town. Good parking on site (€14). Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel clean and comfortable. V good breakfast. Meal in the restaurant Bistro Bardy was ok. (Many thanks to the staff for retrieving our passports which we later discovered we had left in the hotel safe!)

Hotel Mercure is located in the hearing of Angouleme and right across the street from the Halles - a unique venue much akin to a farmer market with patisseries, bars, and wonderful food. The staff was wonderful and shout out to our bartender. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. The rooms are good sized, very clean, and fresh.

Had a nice stay here. The only mistake we made was eating in the Hotel restaurant which was really awful. The food was really low standard. We may stay again but next time we will eat somewhere else!

Fantastic stay, service, bed, breakfast, views and dining options. Take a taxi to the hotel. Walk is straight uphill from train! Especially if you have bags.l and it’s summertime. Mercí Mercure!

Suite à des problèmes de santé nous avons dû annuler notre séjour. Réponse de l’hôtel aucun remboursement ni voucher. Bravo pour un hôtel du groupe Accor alors que d’autres hôtels du même groupe nous ont proposé un voucher.

Hôtel bien placé et confortable. Le seul inconvénient est la salle de bain qui nécessiterait une rénovation (joint à refaire, débordement)

Well-located in the town center near the market and service was very good.

Great location. Good restaurant. But room had not been cleaned very well before we arrived. Most of staff friendly and helpful. But, elevator to parking wasn’t working when we left and we weren’t offered any assistance with our bags.

Hôtel très bien situé pour visiter la ville. Bel établissement, bon accueil et grand confort.

Angoulême, ville étape de la BD particulièrement chaleureuse et animée ! Les habitants sont très sympas. On ne peut que s’y plaire. Hôtel très bien placé.
