Love the old style, beautiful decorations, friendly staff air-conditioning worked great and beds were comfortable. Can’t wait to come back.

A lovely, grand old building with an attentive staff. Really enjoyed the vibe of the outside courtyard and bar. With the recent bridge improvements an spruce up of the adjacent retail area, it was easy to get around town.

Its a 125+yo historic hotel. They've done a good job at modernizing it, but exposed electric flex conduit and cat5 cables on the ceiling really detract from the grandeur of this incredible place. For $350+/night I was expecting something a little more upscale.

I loved the historical old building. It was beautiful - very grand - and the rooms were spacious and had character. Not your typical generic hotel. It had a lovely shaded patio for dining and outdoor lounge chair area in the shaded grass. Staff was great, even when we had to cancel one of the rooms I had reserved at the last minute because that couple never made it to town on the arrival date. Interstate traffic into the city was suddenly closed due to some kind of emergency and all traffic was turned around; there was no other access into town. We were lucky we got to town when we did. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Colorado and in Glenwood Springs.

We loved our stay and the history of the hotel! A short walk to the hot springs and restaurants. The bedrooms were great, but the bathroom does need a little tlc. Would stay again!

We were put in a room next to a family reunion of 70 partying people that spilled out into the hall. They were loud and seemed to think that they had rented the entire wing for their party with no concern for the room next door. The hotel was very slow to respond.

Very Disappointed on a Special Occasion 
We stayed at the Hotel Colorado to celebrate my daughter’s 50th birthday, expecting a memorable experience. Unfortunately, we were met with rude service at the bar—our waitress pushed overpriced “double” drinks, and when we questioned, the bar manager was extremely disrespectful. It wasn’t about the money, but the way my daughter was treated on her milestone birthday. Sadly, we left feeling unwelcome and disappointed by what should be a first-class hotel.

A very cool place to stay and learn about all of the history of this hotel. Because its a historical building and very old you definitely sacrifice some luxeries. Rooms and very hot and beds were slightly uncomfortable, also no fridges or microwaves in room. Rooms could have been cleaner as we found used dried contact lenses on the floor. The experience was still nice because it really is an amazing building in a great location. Just dont expect super fancy or great accommodations.

The location was fantastic! It was close to everywhere we wanted to go.

Old worldly hotel. Small ac in the room. Had to pay for breakfast. No refrigerator or microwave. Good food.

This beautiful and welcoming historic hotel has been tastefully renovated, maintaining its character whilst adding the comfort of air-conditioning.

My stay was on a weekday, so there was plenty of free parallel parking around the hotel. I didn’t have to pay the additional $15 fee to park in a parking lot.

This is a charming old hotel with some nice recent upgrades. My daughter and I have stayed here many times over the years when we visit the hot springs. Lots of lovely memories of the fires in the lobby and telling ghost stories.

Amazing decor, spacious rooms, lots of history, easy walk to Glenwood Springs town. Excellent meal, Kipp our server was very attentive & friendly, great food & wine.

We enjoyed the updated rooms and clean bathroom. Dog friendly. Excellent proximity to Hot Springs Pool. Breakfast was delicious but dinner was mediocre. Wait staff was excellent. Best coffee drink is the Brown Bear Frappuccino.

The building is very old but it has been upgraded very well. It's a nice experience. AC units were strong. Super close to a lot of shops and good restaurants

We love the Hotel Colorado and stay here every time we are in Glenwood Springs, 3-4 times per year.
