チェックインした時点で、石鹸の封が開いている、シャワーキャップの紙箱に水しぶきがかかっている、シュガー類が入った袋にコーヒーの染みがある等部屋の準備に甘い部分があった。それを鑑みてチップを置かなかったからか、掃除は洗面所の床に髪の毛が残っていたりと大ざっぱであった。とはいえ潔癖症の人間が過ごせる程度であり、一番安い部屋に泊まったが寝室も洗面所も広くあるべきところがきちんと広く、ホテルの従業員も丁寧であったので快適に過ごせた。 各種タオル、ドライヤー、アイロン、バスローブ等の備品は揃っている。シャンプー、リンス、ボディークリーム、シャワーキャップ、靴磨き、手洗い用石鹸、全身洗い用石鹸はあるが、歯ブラシや化粧水、ミネラルウォーターはない。少し歩けばドラッグストアがあるので適宜購入可能。

Nice location, safe and clean. Charming interior.

施設は古いですが、掃除も行き届いているし、エレベーターの扱い方など(古いためボタンのライトがつかない階や、下にエレベーターが来ない時があるので)、スタッフの方が親切に教えてくれます。円安が進み、予算内で泊まれるホテルを探していたのですが、ここにして良かったです。 地下鉄(Metro Center, Mt Vernon Sq/Convention Center)やバス(11th/K street)へのアクセスも便利だし、近くにスーパーやドラッグストア、テイクアウト可能なレストランもあります。 初日は午前中にDC入りしたので、荷物を預けに行ったのですが、部屋には入れなかったものの、プレチェックインまでできたので助かりました。 部屋の掃除は担当するハウスキーパーによるな、とは思いましたが、総じて、好印象です。またDCに旅行する際はお世話になりたいです。

Old style but clean in the room, pricey.

I loved the property and the ease of accessibility to attractions but there was a lot of street noise…no fault of the hotel.

The wifi was horrible. They only had one elevator in operation, there was hardly ever anyone welcoming in the lounge or dining area. The rooms are extremely small and the upgrades to charging stations were not optimal.

The staff was accommodating, the location was close to museums and landmarks, and the lobby was pretty. It would be useful to have a microwave and refrigerator, the latter of which the hotel was able to provide on request. Please note that the room was fairly small compared to others I usually have at other hotels.

The stay was good but only drawback was upon checking in, the manager was rude and was t friendly. The front desk worker was great but the manager was rude. I had done a credit card authorization form with my company and it was al set up. When I arrived the manager said it wasn’t on file and it had to be redone again. She just wasn’t cooperative. She shouldn’t be working there. The rest of the employees and staff were great. The room was small but it did its job.

This hotel space is absolutely darling. It gives old hollywood with the ritz and pizzazz. I truly loved how it felt like walking through time with all of the furnishings, the restaurants, etc. The staff were really lovely at check in and also the bellhops and greeters at the door. It just felt very welcoming and like I was treated with respect. The room was a bit dark for my liking, even with all of the lights on. I think it's just it's position in the building. The beds were comfortable and again, the aesthetic was so fun. Overall, a lovely stay and would 100% stay again.

It was a beautiful property, very unique and vintage. It felt luxurious and food was great at the restaurant.

Location is awesome. Quiet, clean, and comfortable rooms.

I loved the fact that the person that checked us in is from my home country of El Salvador. Overall everyone gave us an excellent service. The breakfast at the restaurant was excellent. My room was always clean. And they opened the door every time I came in. Thank you so much for treating us like family.

Close enough to walk Washington sights. Many dining option within walking distance. Very nice room. Helpful staff.
