I rented an upgraded room. It was nothing like it showed. Apparently there is only a few rooms that are like that and I didn’t get one. My coffee table was all marked up, there were ants all in my bathroom. Although the size of my room was nice it definitely failed to meet the expectations shown online. Not a premium bed for sure more like a mattress on an old metal frame and no way did it have the shelving shown around the bed as seen online. I was considering leaving but there wasn’t much available around. Outside was very nice I have to say I loved sitting in the courtyard area. Not to happy with the unreal pictures online. Breakfast was nice and clean seating area this and the courtyard were the only reason for 3 stars instead of 2. Please read the reviews before booking any place to stay. I hope this helps even one person.

We were passing through to Savannah and spent one night at Villa 1565. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. The villa 1565 is located near the historic old town and is easily accessible on foot. The breakfast selection was okay. Unfortunately, only paper plates and plastic cutlery were provided. I find that acceptable for a picnic, but not in a hotel.

Facility could use a little renovation, but otherwise the staff were great and I always enjoy myself at that hotel

Well located. Clean room. One minor problem with the wash basin that had not been reported before fixed straight away. Nice pool and bar. Good bar with live music.

The room was clean other than the floor. Could use a good scrubbing. The breakfast was just ok. They have a nice swimming pool. Enjoyed that more than anything. I requested wash clothes twice and never got them. The staff, for the most part were friendly. Wouldn't stay again though.

Good location, walkable distance to downtown. On the trolley bus route. Reasonable swimming pool. Interior dated but serviceable.

The room was old but relatively clean. It served our needs. It was convenient to the places we wanted to go and we felt safe there. The property had some beautiful old trees and they provided a brief history of the area. Close to the Fountain of Youth and we enjoyed hearing the peacocks nearby. Overall it was a good value for the money we spent but not a high end luxury accommodation for sure. If traveling on a budget it’s a great stop.

The price per night of $199 was very expensive for a room that on most nights cost $50. The property felt very unsafe and run down
