I have been occasionally visiting the U.S. for around 30 years since 1994, due to my work, and this stay was one of the best experiences I have had. The hotel is located in a quiet area with many embassies, but it is very convenient to walk to the metro station in a short time. The Dupont Circle area has a great nightlife with plenty of cozy restaurants and bars. The hotel is also clean and has updated facilities, making it one of the most comfortable hotel experiences I have had in the US.

Clean and quiet rooms, and a very friendly staff. The location is great for walks around Dupont Circle. It's also just a 5 minute walk to the Metro for quick trips around the city.

Awsome service, the breakfast was great and they even offer at the end of your stay to hold your bags incase you want to do more sightseeing/ activities.

I was very pleased with my stay at Lyle Washington DC. The staff was consistently friendly and willing to go out of their way for me. The restaurant downstairs offered good food. I ate dinner and breakfast there each.The room was nice and seemed as though the bathroom was renovated not that long ago. Amenities such as soap/lotion and shampoo/conditioner were provided. There was some noise outside at night and I think it was the trash pickup. But other than that, it was an overall very pleasant stay. Safeway was within walking distance where I bought water and snacks. There was a CVS as well as a number of restaurants, all of which were just down the street and around the corner. One thing was that I'm kind of short so it took me a little while to get to the train station but it was ok. Tip: If you are over 65, you can ride the bus for $1.10 each way, if you pay cash. The transportation system is very good in DC. I would definitely stay at the Lyle again.

The staff were so friendly and helpful. Always on point and welcoming anytime I arrived or departed. Consistently offered help if needed.

Quarto em excelentes condições, muito bem decorado, porém, bem pequeno. Tem um excelente restaurante no lobby. Tem alguns restaurantes próximos. Confesso que não entendi a nota tão alta nas avaliações para esse hotel, não tem espaço para sentar na recepção. Não sei se s minha estadia foi curta e não consegui me localizar e observar as vantagens. Saí com esse sentimento.

Wonderful hotel in a lovely neighborhood with easy access to Dupont Circle area, restaurants, etc. We suggested the room needed a full length mirror for future guests and 10 minutes later there was a mirror delivered!! Thank you Lyle staff--very thoughtful!
