It was my first time to visit Prince Rupert and stayed at this hotel "High Liner Plaza Hotel and Conference Center". In my room, there was a big bed for me and nice view from the window. プリンスルパートへ初訪問で、このホテル滞在も初めて。 ボクの部屋には、大きいベッドと、良い眺めの景色。

There is nothing positive that I can say about my stay here. Filthy and battered public areas, poorly cleaned room, dangerous wiring in the room and a very sketchy neighbourhood. I am disappointed that Expedia would list this property. It doesn’t build confidence in the Expedia platform or its vetting of properties that are listed. Do not consider staying here.

Checked into room number one, with dry blood spits on the floor and dirty floors. Second room attempt was any better. The flooring had severe water damage and was very sticky, and it smelled like mold. The third room had no power in the main are. All if the bath tubs were not cleaned. There was a big dirt rings. The staff didn't seem to care at all about my frustration. I demanded an upgrade and never received it. Finally got into a better room. Although the floors were dirty, id suggest bringing sandles. I wouldn't recommend staying here. I know I won't be returning customer. It was nice three years ago. And now it's completely disgusting. Only thing I enjoyed was the partial view.

Great location and very friendly staff

We stayed at the Highliner after we were told the building had been renovated. Construction could still be heard late into the evening. We checked in and the windows looked like they had been cleaned with a cloth. The floors were quite dirty and neither of the room cards worked for the door. There is no AC in the building which was a bummer. Beds are very firm, old, and thin enough you could feel the springs through them. We would not stay here again

First day there trapped in the elevator for 5 minutes and the cleaning staff left someone else's used Gatorade bottle in our room also there was 3 of us in the room and I had to go down twice for extra towels. It was street parking and supposedly property parking which I found out later on the second day it was out back beside the old RCMP Building But I was never told this at the start.

Loud, no clean air in the room, fan in bathroom didn’t work. Staff unwilling to deal with noisy guests after 11pm. Uncomfortable beds.

The room was large, clean with the basic amenities. The desk staff were polite and courteous. No air conditioning. The first night there was a disturbance in the room above. Police and ambulance on scene for about 4 hours. I believe this hotel has low income housing rooms sponsored by the government. It’s getting pricy for what you get. Parking is street only.

Staff quality is mixed - the breakfast staff was great (the breakfast wasn't bad either) but check in was chaotic. The room was tired with clanking plumbing, uncontrollable heating and sporadic hot water. Finally, if there is a nice part of Prince Rupert, this hotel certainly isn't in it. I won't stay there again. Caveat emptor.

Beautiful ocean view, lovely building.

Nice hotel - great breakfast - helpful kind staff. Hotel says renovated but the outside curb appeal is a bit rough but the rooms inside themselves are clean and somewhat new with neutral smell - nice view - and super great to open the balcony doors to let sea breeze in. Some noise from the street level (pedestrian walk beeps) good black out curtains. Nice size tub. Noise level in the hotel was minimal - the elevators worked well. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a lot of options with helpful servers. Parking is a bit of a wildcard but we always found somewhere. Safe area to walk around downtown for dinner etc.

The room was clean, but very basic. Such as only 1 bedside table, no clock. No complimentary bars of soap/lotion, etc. in the bathroom, only a soap dispenser. The bathtub looked kind of old and drab, same as the shower curtain. The free continental breakfast was very basic, only a few items to choose from. Plus there was a big puddle of water in the middle of the floor, with a tiny fan pointed it at - I don't know why they didn't mop it up! Plus no air conditioning in the room, and the patio windows were dirty - kind of disappointed for the amount of money I paid. We had to park down the street from the hotel. Won't be going back there!

No parking entrance doors all smashed out people doing drugs inside and outside of building. Smells like a grow-op in the room had too put a towel across the bottom of the door. Never go there again....
