Hotel was a bit run down and didn’t seem too clean. Breakfast was good

We were pretty disappointed with this hotel honestly. With taxes and fees and all it was just shy of $300 for a single night and with no breakfast (which we knew, but still) and a $22 parking fee, this was a big spend for us. The hotel lobby is very fancy and updated and the restaurant looks swanky, but the room itself was fine. The carpet had a few stains, the walls and ceilings looked a little dingy, and the top comforter was worn. But the biggest disappointment was the bathroom. I am only 5’ 2” and the shower head was just tall enough for me to comfortably shower, but my over 6’ husband had to duck a lot in order to wash his hair and shoulders. And the bathroom was overall just old and although clean, not in great shape. For a $300 a night stay in Saint John (not exactly a particularly expensive city), I expect a good shower. The staff was nice and helpful but I was not thrilled overall for the price.

Good staff, Breakfast was good. Location was great . Parking was good but a little expensive when you stay a week should have been a discount. Room was clean but very little natural light small window and view terrible plus a lot of bird droppings and feathers outside the window should have been more consideration if you are staying for a week or more on room selection. Why isn’t there a senior discount they have them everywhere.

The hotel was perfectly located downtown, with easy walking access to restaurants, pubs, the waterfront, and other attractions. The beautiful weather made it even more enjoyable to explore the area on foot. During our stay tho, we experienced several maintenance issues with our room. The room key repeatedly failed to unlock the door, often requiring several attempts before it would work. The bathroom sink was leaking, and three of the electrical outlets in the room were not functioning. Breakfast was included with our stay and was delicious, offering a great selection each morning. We also used the valet service. While the staff were friendly and courteous, there were times when we waited 15 minutes or more for our vehicle to be brought around.

Location and breakfast were good. Only one elevator was functioning. We were entertained by a seagull going through its morning ablutions, priceless.

Fairly clean. Average. I chose this hotel because it was a Marriott which rarely disappoints but this hotel is below a normal Marriott quality. Cannot imagine the toilet paper having been any thinner

It is a good hotel, but a little old. We were lucky to get the complementary parking. It is very close to the harbour and restaurants. The staff was very helpful.

Staff at front desk were amazing! Great service at MIX bar as well as at the breakfast.

We had a very clean room. We arrived late and everyone was helpful. Our vehicle was too big for the parking deck and valet parking was no problem.

This is an old property with a bit of lipstick on it. My shower curtain smelled badly of armpits, the carpets were scuzzy. The bed was clean and comfortable though. And the staff were very friendly and comfortable. But over all I’d say a 6/10.

It was a good stay except for the fact that there were very noisy guests shouting in the passage ways late at night. It was very disruptive to sleep.

Room blew a fuse twice left with no power and then the AC didnt work so we had to move rooms at 2 AM. Staff did help quickly but didn't even offer an apology.

Good stay. Clean and very comfortable beds. Good size rooms, nice pool, inviting atmosphere. However, parking situation not great. I realize parking garage isn’t only for hotel, but not marked clearly.
