I have stayed various hotels in Newcastle, but the Malmaison was one of the best hotel in the city. I recommend to all who is visiting Newcastle.

Hotel excellent location and overall good. Room service could be improved! Ordered toasted sandwich. Barely toasted - (ran out of ham ) over all very poor

Our room was spacious and the fabrics were lovely. TV didn't work initially but the response was immediate and the problem resolved. All staff we encountered were very polite.

Spacious, comfortable room

This was a last minute booking for myself my good lady and our dog.. The hotel supplied a dog bed and some doggy treats which was a nice touch. Parking was easy and very reasonable All in all a lovely hotel with very friendly staff,

didnt have breakfast

Breakfast is great but let down by the inadequate gym/workout space and equipment. Some of the fitting (buttons for the lift etc…) need replacing. Good but slightly let down in a few key areas

What fabulous location , right on the quayside and alongside the millennium bridge . The magnificent glasshouse is directly opposite. Book a bridge view room !!! Staff were brilliant . The hotel is classic Malmaison , quality with an air of coolness . I loved staying here. Sensible priced , safe , secure nominated Parking was a real bonus. Thanks.

VERY dated reception gloomy, dark and could do with a big refresh. Rest of hotel not too bad, bar lovely.

The staff were very helpful and polite. The reception was excellent clean and well presented. The bedrooms were well equipped and immaculately clean, the bed was very comfortable. Overall 10 out of 10

Lovely hotel in a perfect location, we got a really good deal, so we’re very happy with our stay. We also got 50% off the menu in the chez mal restaurant using the fork app. Lovely food but very pricey without the discount. Would definitely stay again if the price was right. Great hotel car parking opposite at a bargain price of £6 for 24 hrs

Room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Good location, not too far from city centre or train station.

Lovely hotel on Newcastle quayside, staff were friendly and welcoming, the room was large and comfortable and we had everything we needed. We'd definitely stay here again.
