マーロウは大好きな町です いつもはアフタヌーンティーを頂く庭でビアガーデンを楽しみました

The most luxury hotel for me in my life. Wonderful staff, facility, Very English location and Perfect full English breakfast

チェックインの時、受付の方が荷物が重そうなのを見て、エレベーターがある新しい方の建物のお部屋に変更して下さいました。お部屋は広く、ベッドもバスルームも快適でした。小さいけどテラスがあって、お天気が良ければ、備え付けのコーヒーか紅茶で、テムズ河を見ながらリラックス出来ます。すぐ近くにマーローのハイストリートがあり、カフェ、パブ、レストラン、スーパーがあり便利です。ホテルのレストランは景色が良く、アフタヌーンティーもお勧めです。

林望先生はじめ色々の方々がホテルの固有名詞で紹介しているホテルに実際宿泊出来、楽しめました。 ホテルと周辺の景色(ホテルの目の前を流れるテムズ川と教会、川辺一般家庭の手入れされた庭など)が、寛ぎを与えてくれます。 ヒースローから30分位の距離ですので今後も使いたいと思います。

設備、接客について、可もなく不可もなくというところでした。リバービューのお部屋にすれば良かったのでしょうが、駐車場側のお部屋だったので眺望について勿体無いことをしました。

思い出をたぐる旅の一つとして３０年ぶりにこのホテルに泊まりました。部屋は１０号室で残念ながら部屋からの景観はあまり良くありませんでした。角部屋が救いでしたが・・・従業員の対応は大変親切でした。夕食も量的には日本人の食にあっていました。周辺の散策で変わらぬUKを満喫しました。

Nice time overall. Disappointed there was no hot water Saturday night & that we didn’t get robes as stated we would in the deluxe rooms. Also toiletries very sparse had to ask for soap. Was thankful we upgraded the room for our parents as their room was lovely. Fabulous view. Staff were delightful but think they could do with more as not enough of them to provide the service you would expect ( isn’t their fault just not enough of them) Breakfast was lovely and we were very grateful for the later checkout.

The hotel has an excellent location but is really tired and dated. The hot water didn't work one day (was fixed quite quickly) and the normal pressure was just terrible in the shower. Just don't think it has had much money spent on it so feels really tired but is a beautiful old building and bet the outside space in the summar is amazing! They defaut "don't clean" for rooms so you do have to ask, which is no problem as we asked and they cleaned just doesn't feel the kind of standard you would expect for the hotel. Breakfast seemed pretty chaotic on some days. Staff were mega friendly.

Breakfast was ok bar ran out of drinks I expected a hotel of this stature to be able to supply basic things like shower gels hand soap but they were not in the room The staff were very good Overall I felt very underweamled

I’ve stayed here many times before and was sadly disappointed this time. On arrival the receptionist was offhand verging on rude. There was a kettle in my room but no base with a plug. No shower gel in the bathroom and no hot water this morning. My room was near a generator (I realise this is just bad luck of course) so I got very little sleep. Overall the experience was very below par I’m afraid….

Idyllic setting on the Thames. Lovely hotel and standard room big with very comfortable beds.

This time of the year having the large windows open to let in the fresh air was delightful

room wasn't cleaned properly, exterior of hotel was starting to look shabby, the evening meal was a disaster Staff tried hard but got the impression management was cutting corners. We stayed there 15 years ago and it was great but now, no never again

The room was very comfortable, although there was some noise from the external fans on the flat roof. Breakfast was good with a wide choice. The site is excellent and nearly all the staff was welcoming and smiling.

Hotel overall felt neglected, in need of some maintenance and better upkeep. All staff were very helpful and lovely.

Wonderful room and comfortable with all we needed.

The hotel is looking 'tired'. Shower door was smeared, Had a power cut during the evening and the staff were very busy. 20 minutes to be served at the bar. Overall pleasant but no where near as good as it used to be.

Staff attentive

Stayed in a very spacious suite. Nice bed, tv in bathroom but couldn’t get it to work….tight on toiletries, one mini shower gel is not enough for 2 people. Supper in restaurant was good. Breakfast was ok but really grating was full English was included in b&b rate but if you wanted avocado on toast a £6 supplement as was smoked salmon and and scrambled egg as was 2 more items…..only had cheap white bread for toast. Continental selection was poor. Staff tried hard but understaffed especially in the bar in the evening. Hotel is in a beautiful setting and close to walk to high street where there’s some good shops.
