マーロウは大好きな町です いつもはアフタヌーンティーを頂く庭でビアガーデンを楽しみました

The most luxury hotel for me in my life. Wonderful staff, facility, Very English location and Perfect full English breakfast

チェックインの時、受付の方が荷物が重そうなのを見て、エレベーターがある新しい方の建物のお部屋に変更して下さいました。お部屋は広く、ベッドもバスルームも快適でした。小さいけどテラスがあって、お天気が良ければ、備え付けのコーヒーか紅茶で、テムズ河を見ながらリラックス出来ます。すぐ近くにマーローのハイストリートがあり、カフェ、パブ、レストラン、スーパーがあり便利です。ホテルのレストランは景色が良く、アフタヌーンティーもお勧めです。

林望先生はじめ色々の方々がホテルの固有名詞で紹介しているホテルに実際宿泊出来、楽しめました。 ホテルと周辺の景色(ホテルの目の前を流れるテムズ川と教会、川辺一般家庭の手入れされた庭など)が、寛ぎを与えてくれます。 ヒースローから30分位の距離ですので今後も使いたいと思います。

設備、接客について、可もなく不可もなくというところでした。リバービューのお部屋にすれば良かったのでしょうが、駐車場側のお部屋だったので眺望について勿体無いことをしました。

思い出をたぐる旅の一つとして３０年ぶりにこのホテルに泊まりました。部屋は１０号室で残念ながら部屋からの景観はあまり良くありませんでした。角部屋が救いでしたが・・・従業員の対応は大変親切でした。夕食も量的には日本人の食にあっていました。周辺の散策で変わらぬUKを満喫しました。

The accessible room is not suitable for a disabled person in a wheelchair- just a few tweaks to the bathroom would make such a difference eg a raised toilet with drop down bars and a walk in shower.

Another great stay at the Compleat Angler. The Windor Suite is exquisite and always our choice.

The restaurant was really nice for dinner and the view is great. The carpet in the room had a ton of stains, they never came to service the room. We ordered the room service breakfast and it was terrible. Eggs not cooked, coffee press didn’t have a filter so the coffee granules were in the coffee. One slice of bacon for two people and very expensive.

Excellent clean room and excellent check in. Helpful staff, good parking and good location.

The breakfast was lovely, sat overlooking the river, service was polite and prompt. The room we had overlooked the weir and was spaceous. It was clean except for a glass

The girl on reception when checking in was really helpful and easily the best staff member we encountered. After that, things were very average. The room looked tired an in need of some love as it had stains on the carpet and felt flat in colour. Breakfast was very poor service, with only 4 tables to serve the 2 staff struggled to offer any level of service. If you throw in how much they charge per room, this is definitely a hotel trading on location and historical levels of quality. Not worth the money and there’s better places nearby for less

The hotel is not only showing some obvious wear in both the rooms (furnishings) and public areas (corridors/lifts etc.) but particularly could have been improved by simply paying attention. Outside lawn bar areas/furniture are not even being wiped down and this is a highlight area for this hotel. Rooms are not made up in a timely manner 3:45 in the afternoon seems rather late for any room not to mention a suite you want to enjoy time in. Staff comments were less than helpful. This was a 4 day stay and a bit disappointing.

Excellent location but disappointingly no more than a 3*. Room decor and furniture very tired. Whole property needs redecoration and carpets throughout. Completely empty minibar and no drinking water in the room. We were sent a message prior to check in from the hotel offering us a room upgrade but wanting to charge us extra if we accepted it. Surely if there were rooms of a better standard unoccupied would it not be a prudent move to offer those to guests paying 4* prices.

Nice time overall. Disappointed there was no hot water Saturday night & that we didn’t get robes as stated we would in the deluxe rooms. Also toiletries very sparse had to ask for soap. Was thankful we upgraded the room for our parents as their room was lovely. Fabulous view. Staff were delightful but think they could do with more as not enough of them to provide the service you would expect ( isn’t their fault just not enough of them) Breakfast was lovely and we were very grateful for the later checkout.

The hotel has an excellent location but is really tired and dated. The hot water didn't work one day (was fixed quite quickly) and the normal pressure was just terrible in the shower. Just don't think it has had much money spent on it so feels really tired but is a beautiful old building and bet the outside space in the summar is amazing! They defaut "don't clean" for rooms so you do have to ask, which is no problem as we asked and they cleaned just doesn't feel the kind of standard you would expect for the hotel. Breakfast seemed pretty chaotic on some days. Staff were mega friendly.

Breakfast was ok bar ran out of drinks I expected a hotel of this stature to be able to supply basic things like shower gels hand soap but they were not in the room The staff were very good Overall I felt very underweamled
