プレミアリーグのサッカーチームがあるイギリスの避暑地という事で訪れたが全体的に施設が老朽化しており、多くの観光客が訪れるせいか街自体も汚く、海岸もそんなに綺麗ではない。あくまでもイギリス国民向けのカジュアルな保養地と言った印象で、海外からわざわざ訪れるに値しない。ただ海岸沿いにあるホテル群の中で一番外観が綺麗だったホテル(当ホテルではない)の一階レストランで食べた夕食は、今まで総計3週間ほどイギリスに滞在して食べた食事の中で一番美味しかった。

Air conditioning was fantastic in our room over a hot August weekend. Fabulous location- right along the pride parade route next to the beach. Room was nice & quiet. Breakfast was good too.

Great location, lovely hotel and great staff, would definitely go back.

Make sure you ask for a room with A/C

staff said only few steps from lift to room -that was wrong.Also ON the room we had to go up four steps to bathroom-they saw my wife used an walking rock and offered no interest

Place had air conditioning in my room. That alone would merit an overall excellent rating. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was very tasty. Great location for getting around Brighton. I highly recommend.

Every room should have a fridge as the cooling draws do not work.

First off, we booked the seaside room and the view was STUNNING. The area wasn’t our favorite, but we were only there for one night. We didn’t really explore the hotel or the area much, but the room was worth it.

Great hotel anti my room wasn’t ready until 5.30!

Decoration was very bijou. Very attractive. Room was furnished and cleaned to a high standard. Very spacious. Breakfast area was small, busy & restricted at times. Lobby had to be used as overspill area when was cramped & uncomfortable.

Staff are really nice and helpful,hotel in a great location but rooms need air-conditioning could not relax too hot and fan in bathroom did not work.

Room cleanliness needed attention. Having air-conditioning was a bonus. Hotel conveniently located for all amenities

Typical English breakfast; if you're expecting anything else, you won't get it. Room had an excellent view towards the beach, though windows could be more clean to enjoy it. A very comfy bed, modern tv, yet a filthy carpet and no water in room available. Helpful and friendly staff.

Lovely hotel. But I just don’t think you can pay £300 a night without aircon. Rooms had a fan from the 1950s which wasn’t any help. Also no fridge in the room, so a hot room and no place for cold drinks. I understand hospitality is under pressure but it’s a lot of money without the basics.

Simply divine

Price was through the roof, for the room we were put in. Terrible room, bathroom the smallest I’ve ever seen. Would not stay again or recommend.

The staff make this hotel. Friendly and helpful. Room had air conditioning which was bonus but bit of a climb up stairs to reach it. Lift unfortunately not working but able to use disability lift. Pleased with stay .
