Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The pub on the property was reasonably priced and the food was good.

staff are all nice and helpful, we check in July the 8th in the evening the front desk lady very nice and helped us all the way. the next day at breakfast a young lady so patient and very nice to us accommodating as we are all rushing and trying to beat the 10am Thank you and we'll definitely be back for we came from Salt spring island which Sidney and Victoria is our favorite place

Although the Waddling Dog is under renovation, it is perfect for a short stay. For a very clean stay in a newly renovated British character inn, attached to a pub and across from a gas station for a last minute top up, stay here.

Unique decor, friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. Breakfast was great, too! Easy to get to, close to the airport.

Great family hotel. We were a group of 3 adults and 3 kids. This was a perfect hotel for us. Large rooms, lots of choices at breakfast and a great pub, with a family area for dinner. Walking distance to a beach with many other beaches nearby. Quick trip into downtown Victoria. We all really enjoyed our stay.

Close to airport and Butchart Gardens

We just stayed for 1 night and checked out early so we didn't get to the breakfast, but the check in and out was seamless. The staff was very nice and even called to check on us! Only downside was we couldn't find the temperature control for the AC so the room was either too hot or too cold. Otherwise, a very great stay.

Decor made the place look run down. They first gave me a room on the 1st floor, which I rejected. The later gave me a room across the hall from the elevator on the 3rd floor. No much better…translation to me…we don’t care about you, crappy customer service.

Loved our stay here. The staff were super friendly and helpful, it was spotlessly clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. Our room looked out onto a garden at the back, which was a pleasant surprise. The breakfast was very good, with plenty of choice and the pub next door was very convenient to get an evening meal. Would highly recommend and it will be our first choice next time we are visiting Victoria. Also, the location is very convenient for the airport and ferry

Staff were great. Place was clean. Breakfast was okay. Building is quite old but overall pretty good. Would consider staying again but would also look at other places nearby. Was great for getting on early ferry the next morning.
