Well situated clean and tidy property. I’ll certainly stay there again. Old fashioned feel.

The rooms with the blue stone in the bathroom were amazing! The views all around were great! Loved our visit!

Beautiful old property.

Portland is a wonderful place and staying at the Bentinck added to our enjoyment. The rooms are large, well appointed and very comfortable. Staff are very welcoming and great providers of information about the district. Easy walking distance to the beach, harbour and shops round out a great place to stay. Being Victoria's first settemet, the history of the area adds to its charm.

A lovely old hotel. We had a fabulous room, very big and comfortable. Large bathroom with a good shower and lovely toiletries. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and that was delicious.

Easy to check in and quiet rooms

We are 70 years old and we were on the third floor and no elevator…..nowhere do I recall I would have to climb three flights of stairs with an injured leg. It is very much in need of upgrading and the cost per night, I won’t even go there. Very disappointing.
