It was okay.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience throughout. Although the rooms were a little dated and the beds uncomfortable, the staff were exceptionally helpful and the food and drinks were excellent.

Excellent apart from pool/spa closed for refurbishment at the moment.

Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. I didn’t have breakfast because I thought it was a bit pricey. I was very unhappy about having to pay £10 to park the car

Arrived to see posters indicating that a boiler was being replaced between 10pm and 4am - there was no mention of this prior to or after booking. Fire alarm went off at 1.45am, spoke to reception who said it was a false alarm. The fire alarm light kept flashing after this. I went to reception at 2.15am who told me the light wasn't flashing as they'd reset the alarm (they didn't ask to check). Went back to my room and at about 2.30am reception called to ask me if the light was still flashing (the light they said wasn't flashing). I was then woken around 3.15am by the sound of drilling or sawing from the boiler work - the sound of which had been going on during the night. The alarm light was still flashing at this point as well. Worst hotel stay I've ever had. No hint of an apology from reception staff at check out who merely said they'd inform tech services to look at the light.

Great breakfast, clean room, shame the spa facilities were out of order no mention of this upon booking and was on of the main reasons for booking

The breakfasts are good and the staff very helpful and polite

Staff were very friendly and helpful, bar and food area were great. Only thing that let it down were conditions of the bedroom, heating stuck on 29c so we had to open windows, mattress was lumpy.

The parking need be included on reservation. How o going there and need pay to parking. I just stay because I all read Paula for reservation, if I no paid yet I don’t stay.

Very convenient, clean and smart

Overall, a really pleasant stay. The room was clean, tidy, and well put together. A second pillow would have made it even more comfortable, but everything else was great. The restaurant was clean and well maintained, and the staff were efficient, helpful, and welcoming.

The room was clean. The breakfast was fresh - it was constantly being replenished. The staff were helpful and friendly. Its a nice place to stay, especially if you are visiting the nearby tourist attractions

The room was cleaned altought the bathroom floor was having some lines of mould. The staff were ok. the houskeeper how attend us didn't know who to sort a baby cot and we have to call several times to fix it. the breakast varieaty was good mixed of english breakfast and pastries andd fruits and bread. one of the staff who was tidying the breakfast was't very polite,she was cleaning the only2 coffees machies before the close time, and I was unable to take my coffee as she was rude on her approach and didn't give alternative of apologies, very rude face. the rest of the staff didn;t see them smile or give a nice gesture.all very quiet and plain face. Maybe some training in communication and costumer service will be good.

Breakfast was very good. Servi e in the restaurant quick and food of good quality. All staff very good.

We were not informed in advance that the swimming pool would be closed, which left our children very disappointed. We raised the issue with reception, but the staff were unhelpful and showed little interest in resolving the situation. Even after management became involved, we did not receive an apology. While they offered to refund our car parking, they were unable to process the refund back onto my card. After waiting 45 minutes with no resolution, I eventually gave up.

The staff were exceptionally friendly and accommodating throughout our stay, which we truly appreciated. Unfortunately, our initial room had several moths, which was not ideal. We were aware that a wedding was taking place at the hotel; however, the music was so loud that it made it impossible to sleep. As we were travelling with four young children, this made the situation particularly challenging. To their credit, the staff handled the situation well and moved us to a room on the fourth floor, which we were grateful for. That said, it was unreasonable to expect guests to pay for a room where the noise levels made it so difficult to rest.

There was a wedding party in the main hall which was so noisy that it was hard to sleep and also had to pay for parking when we're staying over at the hotel
