The ratings on Expedia were misleading. They stated that this location had a 7.6 rating, when online, I found out later that they had a 3 rating. The pool was closed, when on Expedia, it stated that it was open. The reason they gave me was because they didn't WANT to have it inspected. The pool was the main reason I booked a room here. The bathtub had small hairs and the tub faucet would not stop dripping all night! Also, there was urine stains along the outside of the toilet bowl and stains in the tub as well. The television did not work, luckily, I had brought a projector to entertain my kids with. There was also a lot of activity outside of my room in the early morning, including a woman in heels walking back and forth down the hallway. Will never stay here again!

I loved the rooms. Staff is out of this world. Recommend.

The hotel is ok for one night stay

This property is listed as non smoking and even has non smoking signs at entrances and rooms. Check in dude allowed smokers to smoke, sitting at main entry with door open. Smoke filled the lobby and when we started grabbing tissue and shutting the propped open door; he defended the action as:" well, we need to let them smoke somewhere". Seriously? This is CA with a smoking compliance. Then there is the noise. The hotel has several breezeways that lead to rooms. The garden side breezeway houses all/ most of the mechanical rooms. Every few minutes these turn on. They sound like the dryer units at the drive through car wash. Even ear plugs didn't help. The near shopping by this hotel is sketchy. The surrounding area does not feel safe. It's just a Fred Mayer and Denny's but never have we ever felt unsafe in any State or Country like this. The state is a weapon carry state; ok..no biggie. But when those carrying start yelling at each other...it's not ideal. There is no possinle way to reccomend this hotel.

Nothing, our deluxe room was horrible, we had a 5 inch very lumpy, springy mattress and room smelled like they dumped a bottle of pine-sol. The pillow were sad, where i had to buy one. And when i asked the clerk if we were in a deluxe room, he laughed and said we dont have anything like that here, but new mattresses were coming. Of course after our stay.

Most uncomfortable bed I have slept in in years-way too hard. Both my husband & I came away with extreme shoulder pain. The pictures on the internet are deceptive as they just show the well appointed lobby. Don’t be fooled-on the level with Motel 6

It is generally a good bargain. It is centrally located and clean. We have stayed before. Things have changed. It appears that no outside maintenance is being done. The breakfast has gone downhill. There is no hot breakfast - all of the previous eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy are gone - unless instant oatmeal with luke warm water is considered "hot". We stayed for 4 nights. There was no freshening of linens or replenishment of in room coffee. The swimming pool was not working. We understand from the locals that it has been down for several weeks. It is an interesting hotel that allows pets at a reasonable rate. It wouldn't take much to get this back up to where it should be.

Property was very utilitarian, could use some warming up of shared spaces.

Bed was a foam mattress on a hard surface, suspect infestation, did not stay, left after 5 minutes in the room. Do not recommend.

Price was reasonable but had to wait for the room after check in time. Mattress was hard not enough bed coverings breakfast was underwelming

First time visit great place to sleep. A/C comes out cold. Close by the mine highway. Between 25 to 35 minutes away from Eureka and Acarta. Bathroom super clean. Has all Shampoo, Conditioner and body wash. Next door a She’ll Gas station if you need to fill up. But overall comfortable.

First this is not a “boutique hotel”. It looks like a crappy motel 6 from the 80s that was lightly remodeled. “Breakfast” consisted of cereal, cotton bananas and smooshed muffins. The hotel is not located in a nice are, although the river is across the street. (But out of sight) On top of all of that the pool was broken so my kids couldn’t even swim.
