ホテルの外観や内装は、美しい中世の城のよう、客室も広く快適でした。朝食も美味しかったです。一方で、水道の蛇口がグラグラしているなど、施設の一部に古さも目につきました。Aircoachのバス停からホテルまでの道は何通りかあり、少し坂道を上ります。たまたま階段があるルートを選んでしまって、スーツケースを運ぶのに四苦八苦しました。荷物が多かったり天気が悪かったりしたらタクシーを使った方がいいかもしれません。

全体的にはとても良かったです。 歯ブラシやスリッパなどはありませんでしたが、バスアメニティ・タオルはきちんとありました。冷蔵庫が無かったのと、シャワーに不具合があり、お湯を出すと水漏れがありましたが...がまんできるはんいないでした！ セーフティーボックスもきちんとあり、ベッドも綺麗なのでとても良かったです、受付の方も良かったです！朝食は食べてないので分かりません！おすすめできます！ 場所は少し中心部から離れたところにあります。夜は少し1人だと危ないかも...?

駐車場も有りレンタカーをとめるのに適した施設を探し見つけたが、ロケーションも素晴らしかった。すぐ隣にメインのストリートが位置しどこに行くにもすぐの距離。部屋も施設も良かった。

Excellent staff, so helpful friendly and attentive, breakfast was exceptional, location perfect for city centre Cork, lovely view from very pleasant room. In fact everything was perfect.

Good location, limited parking & a pool. The hotel decor was a bit tired.

The hotel is very nice and the staff is excellent. We stayed 5 days and had a wonderful time. We definitely recommend.

Budget friendly, not a bad stay for a few nights max. The plumbing could be better, but the customer service was defintely the highlight. Very accomodating with any issues we encountered.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay at the Maldron Hotel Shandon Cork. The room was an excellent size (and I loved having a bathtub), the staff were lovely and friendly and overall it was in a convenient location, easy to get to where ever we were going. My husband also enjoyed using the pool but was surprised to find out he needed a bathing cap (lol) not that it was a big deal to purchase on.

The culinary service professionals running the breakfast buffet were very detailed in keeping the facility clean and were friendly and welcoming.

Check in is via kiosk but there’s a person right there to help if you need. Parking is a bit competitive so recommend arriving earlier rather than later. The room was small, very sparsely furnished (no decorative items), and bathroom was fine but had all these marks and holes on walls from where renovators had taken measurements and drilled wrong holes. No washcloths. Towels clean but bare-bones. Shampoo and soap but no conditioner or lotion. It was quiet enough. Had to leave window open for cooler air. Bfast was outstanding though.

Alles soweit in Ordnung. Zimmergröße in Ordnung. Frühstück war top - allerdings ist der Frühstücksraum offensichtlich, wenn das Hotel ausgebucht ist, zu klein. Gäste nach uns haben keinen Platz mehr bekommen und mussten warten. Eine Renovierung der Zimmer (z.B. ausmalen, Steckdosen kontrollieren und neu in der Wand befestigen, etc.) wäre gut. Poolbereich wurde nicht genutzt, daher kann ich hierzu keine Angaben machen. Das Personal in der Bar könnte etwas aufmerksamer sein - scheinbar ist in der Bar Selbstbedienung, denn man wird am Tisch nicht bedient - zumindest nicht alle, manche dann wieder doch - haben das System während der drei Tage nicht ganz durchschaut.

Compared to other four star hotel we stayed in Ireland , this is not four-star. We booked three rooms, one of it was not cleaned ( bins were not emptied, towels not changed) after the first night. Bins were also not emptied for another room but towels were changed. There is very limited parking so we were given a voucher everyday for overnight parking in a car park that is five minutes away. The voucher only covered one third of the cost. The car park is very compact, we had to be very careful going in and out.

Large room, helpful staff, nicely appointed room and bathroom. The shower worked, but the water never got hot, just luke-warm. Small but functional elevator. Standard pub fare available in the bar.

Room smelled of smoke, no temp control so hot, room was over restaurant with super loud music that you could hear so well you can sing to the words (Still loud with ear plugs) kids screaming in the hallways and slamming doors, rooms are older than the front foyer so misleading, the foyer smelled super strong of a nice cologne so not so good for my Mom’s allergies. The bed was comfy and the room space was good. Ask for a room away from the restaurant on the weekend or whenever they have live music past 11pm.
