建物は1880年に建てられたホテルでお部屋はリノベーションされ室内・バスルーム共にとても綺麗でした(狭いですが…)。ただホテル全体はエレベーターが壊れたまま、廊下の壁や天井、絨毯もあまりキレイではなくとても残念でした。 フロントスタッフの方はどの方もとてもフレンドリーで良かったです。また街の真ん中に位置している感じなので、カフェやレストラン、スーパー、ブルーペンギンコロニーも近くとても便利でした。

問題なし！価格、場所

古くから建つホテルとのことなので、古めかしさを想像して行ってみたところやはりそんな感じでした。鍵がカードではなく普通のカギだったり、トイレが一度水を流すとしばらく次が流せなかったり。 とは言え、概ね綺麗で問題なかったです。 レストランは暖炉があっていい感じでした。 建物の中はとても入り組んでいて最初は迷いました。駐車場はホテルの裏で、自由に止められました。

Amazing lovely old building! Nice rooms, bit of street noise early morning but hey the windows are thin and not double glazed. Nice bar, wanted to check out the other bar out the back too but it closed early.

Fantastic location, right in central spot. All the staff from reception to cafe & restaurant to housekeeping were so friendly & helpful. Hotel is lovely, some people might think old, which it is, but thats what we liked about it. Lovely Victoria building. Rooms have be renovated, beds were so comfortable and larger than modern hotels.Bathroom is small but again renovated and shower is so roomy and great water pressure. Wish we had have stayed longer. 2 nights not enough in this lovely hotel & town.

Room was well priced and had all we needed. My only negative comment would be the pressure of the water, very poor but bathroom was lovely

Handily located in town centre

Central location. Clean and lots of parking. Older feel to the hotel as it was a historic building that eas renovated but lots of character.

This hotel promises more than it delivers. The older part of the facility is elegant and potentially charming, but has threadbare carpets and would benefit from a shift in attitude from some staff to become genuinely customer focused. The newer (1960s) part at the back is really pretty basic despite some recent refurbishment - all satisfactory but very basic, and because of this, it is overpriced.

A clean and renovated room with coffe and tea. There was no noise from the street. The service people are very friendly l.

Old world charm. Booked a suite. Highly Recommended for extra space. And they gave me the room with a view to the sea. Fabulous hospitality in the restaurant.. great plus. Overall better than expected. And the town is a plus re old world buildings.

Property is dated but it matches the old building you are staying in. Bathroom was renovated with great water pressure but shower head is low down the wall. Bed was not very comfortable and could do with new mattresses with better back support. Parking out back is convenient and easily accessible from rooms

Was a nice room, logistics around the hotel were awkward with use of a lift but managing two flights of stairs with suitcases to get to the room was not ideal

Very good stay

An historic hotel, well maintained with spacious rooms. The location is excellent on the Main Street (which is very quiet at night) and within walking distance of all the main attractions (galleries, steampunk, cafes etc). Breakfast was very good and the staff both friendly and efficient. I would highly recommend this hotel.
