リゾート気分でプールに入ってゆったりするのは良いですね。ナイル川のサンセットもいいです！ただ少し施設は古いです。

コンシュルジェに、空港までの早朝のタクシーの手配を前日に頼んだところ、明日チェックアウトしてからにしてと回答を受け、当日朝の対応は、忙しいせいかまともな対応をしてもらえず、自ら対応をせざるをえなかった。朝食のビュッフェの選択肢が少ないせいもあり、卵料理の調理に列ができていて、料理人と宿泊者が揉めていたり、気持ちの良い対応とは思えなかった。湯船の栓が壊れていて、お湯を貯めることができなかった。

バスルームの扉は重く、完全に開け締めするのは、難しかった。そしてタオルやバスマットが置いて無かったので、リクエストして持って来てもらった。ヘアドライヤーはバスルームでは使えず、フロントに尋ねたが1時間何も返事がなかったので、直接フロントに行ってクレームを入れたが、またも1 時間何の対応も無かったので、今度はヘアドライヤーを持ってフロントに突きつけて返答を約束させた。スタッフが交換のヘアドライヤーを持ってやって来たのは、さらに１時間後。電気ポット用のコンセント以外は使うようにしてくれとの答えだった。鏡の前でヘアドライヤーが使えないホテルは初めてだ。それよりも、たったそれだけ対応に数時間もかかるホテルの姿勢が理解出来ない。寝るのが深夜になってしまい、疲れが癒せなかった。 部屋に入って直ぐのルームキーカードを指す機器には最初からカードが入っていた。 今までのすべてのホテルでのやり方で、部屋を出る時にカードを抜いて出たが、そのカードはルームキーとして機能していなかった。スペアカードを財布に入れていたので助かったが、危うく部屋に入れなくなるところだった。 タクシーを希望したら、ホテルゲート前にたむろしているタクシーを使うように言われた。その怪しげタクシー達はルクソール神殿まで1000EGPだと言う。高いと思ったが、ホテルの案内なので、外人価格なのかと思い、乗った。帰りは街角で捕まえたタクシーでチップ込みで150EGPだった。ホテルは客引きから宿泊客を守るつもりなど無いみたいに感じた。 他にも色々、ホスピタリティの無さを感じたが、それがエジプトなのか、今のシュバインシュタイガーホテルリゾートのクオリティなのかはわからない。 良きホテルになる為に、この書き込みをホテル関係者にこそ、読んで欲しい。

ナイル川を一望できる部屋でした。とてもきれいな部屋でリラックスできました。 ルクソールで一泊するのであればお薦めします。レストランのスタッフも感じの良い人たちでした。 ゆっくりとナイル川を観ながら食事ができました。機会があればもう一度泊まりたいです。

チェックインから部屋に案内されるとき適当な対応をされ非常に不愉快でした。 部屋もドライヤーすらなくとりたて良い部屋でもなかった。 窓も一箇所しかなく眺望もなかった。 五つ星なので期待していましたがガッカリしました。 良かったのは朝食ビュッフェくらいでした。ここのパンは最高に美味しいと思います。

女性2名で宿泊しました。部屋もロビーも清潔できれいです。ナイル川に沈む夕日が綺麗です。 ただシェラトンと期待していくと、少しがっかりするかもしれません。エジプトで、この価格と考えば、この程度で限界かな。レセプションは、特に愛想は良くありませんが、他のスタッフはフレンドリーでした。ただ、ホテルのプールのすぐ外まで、押し売りが入ってきており、せっかくの雰囲気が台無しです。

Rooms are dated, but clean. Location on the Nile is very nice and breakfast is very good. Staff are too pushy with tipping, making the stay unpleasant. Taxi drivers outside the hotel are also very pushy, making it difficult to sometimes leave the hotel.

One thing I would strongly suggest to the hotel management is addressing the issue with the horse drawn buggies and the taxi drivers waiting outside the property. Unfortunately, having a gate is not enough when, the moment you step outside, they immediately approach you, pressure you, and aggressively try to force you to use their services instead of apps like inDrive. The hotel should work with the tourist police to remove these individuals from the street leading to the hotel entrance. Tourists should be able to walk freely or order an inDrive without being harassed. At one point, I even witnessed two taxi drivers verbally confronting an inDrive driver for picking up a couple, as if they owned the entire area. We stayed at the Steigenberger Resort Achti and walked several times to dine at the Steigenberger Nile Palace, which is only about 0.8 miles away. However, because of the intense heat, we often had to use inDrive, which cost around 50 Egyptian pounds each way. At one point, the taxi drivers pressured us so much that we almost got into one of their taxis. When I asked for the price, the driver quoted 500 Egyptian pounds for the same ride. This is exactly why traditional taxi drivers are losing business and why services like inDrive are becoming more popular. Unless they start being honest and charging fair prices, they will continue to lose customers.

The front desk staff, particularly Ms. Magda, provided an exceptional and highly professional welcome. The accommodations, though standard, included a very comfortable bed and pillows, and presented a stunning view of the Nile. The pool area offered a remarkably relaxing environment, enhanced by impressive landscaping. The breakfast buffet merits a five-star rating.

Hotel molto bello con colazione a buffet ottima. Personale disponibile e gentile. Luogo tranquillo in ottima posizione sul Nilo, 2 piscine ben tenute e camere standard da rimodernare. Consiglio per chi si ferma a Luxor.

An absolute amazing hotel. Great location direct at the Nile. Large rooms. Excellent pools. Delicious breakfast and dinner. Great service (in the room, loby, restaurants around the pool etc.). We definitely can recommend this hotel.

Skønt 5* hotel af høj standard, beliggende direkte ud til Nilen. Rene værelser, godt aircondition anlæg. Fin terrasse med direkte udsigt.til Nilen. Morgenmaden i særklasse, helt igennem fantastisk. Min 100% anbefaling af dette hotel.

Wunderschönes Hotel mit dem freundlichsten, aufmerksamsten Personal. So eine tolle Gästebetreuung haben wir seit vielen Jahren nicht mehr erlebt. Als wir Probleme mit unserer anschließenden Kreuzfahrt auf dem Nil hatten, fuhr die Rezeption sogar in die Stadt, um persönlich nach dem Schiff zu schauen. Auch die Mitarbeiter am Pool waren unendlich freundlich, da wurde alle 15 Minuten der Sonnenschirm verrutscht, dass wir immer im Schatten lagen. Mit extra Handtüchern als Kissen etc. Wir fühlten uns wie im Schlaraffenland. Wir können es wärmstens empfehlen.
