Fantastic stay. Lovely rooms and service. Food was amazing and there was entertainment as well. Bonus.

I had a newly refurbed room which was very clean but stayed two nights and my room was not cleaned on second day or tea/coffee replenished which was a little disappointing.

Staff were wonderful can't fault them they were really attentive and caring. The first room we were put in was a bit of a disaster lol the tap in the bathroom was loose and had a huge hole under it, the whole room smelt of smoke and poo when we walked in the chairs arms were both hanging off soy partner fixed it and the WiFi is useless outside was awful too we were next to what looked like a dumping ground and it was so noisy, if you need to study or work don't bother due to the WiFi , but as soon I I told reception we were moved and into an immaculate room WiFi wasn't any better but everything in the room was wonderful and clean! Can't fault staff at all especially the lovely lady on the desk when we left she couldn't do enough for you. The gent in the food area was great too

Nothing wrong with the room but I could not get a signal on my phone and the wifi kept dropping out which resulted in being unable to work on my lap top. Ruined my stay.

Reasonable cost

Functional room, clean and up to date, due to refurbishment works going on it was a fair hike to the room 😅

The hotel looked tired and was in the middle of a budget restoration. Mostly paint. Access to rooms during the resto was convoluted - circa 200m from reception to my room. Wifi was reminiscent of dial-up. On the plus side, really nice staff, clean rooms, decent evening meals and breakfast. A budget hotel, and even with some issues, a reasonable proposition.

Good value clean room slept well.

The hotel was clean and did the job, definitely looking abit tired in places, needs an upgrade. The receptionist was just lovely, overall for the price I would go back again

Great room apart from no hot water in the evening

We were upgraded to the refurbished rooms for our stay. The hotel receptionist on duty that day was extremely friendly and so helpful. This lady was the face of the hotel and beause of her friendly manner made our stay fabulous. The restaurant and bar staff were also friendly

The hotel is under refurbishment and luckily enough I did get a newly refurbished room so it was immaculate. I must say it was basic but perfectly adequate for a few nights stay. The Bar/Restaurant serves really good food at reasonable prices and the staff were excellent. Especially the young lady on reception who sorted a couple of things out for me.

Staff were lovely, restaurant was fabulous. Room was clean and very large but is very tired especially bathroom! However my understanding is that the hotel is undergoing a renovation and when this is completed it will be fantastic

Arrived around 4 30pm, check in lady was very helpful, given a room on the 1st floor, but right at the back of the hotel, quite a walk and rear of a yard, real bright security light do come though the blind provided, room itself was ok, window glass broken seals, like a skip yard out of the windiw, beds soft, coffee and tea privided

Staff were great and a free upgrade. However, accidentally drove in the exit rather than the entrance as it isn't well signposted. No towels in the room. Room was freezing cold unless the heating was on for 1+ hour, which you couldn't do while you weren't in the room. Car alarm outside went off every 20 minutes all through the night. Corridors were all over the place. Electric chargers were more expensive and slower than the McDonalds down the road.

Upon arrival I was charged £10 for parking, this was not made clear via the booking system. Then the upper floors of the building were undergoing re-decoration and repair. Floors were dirty and very dusty and workmen were playing music loudly at 8am. However, the room was nice and had been re-furbished. It was quiet at night and comfortable. More information on the hotel should be included in the room.
