There was rarely anyone at the front desk. We waited 30 minutes to check in on Day 1 as there was no one there to help us. They said it would be 30 minutes for our room to be ready and 1 hour 40’later we checked in. When the first of two smoke detectors began beeping in the room, I called downstairs but no one there. I finally located a member of housekeeping and she said she would take care of it. This morning at 4 am the other one in the room began beeping. There was no one to pick up the phone and the front desk is always empty. There is clearly a lack of staffing at this hotel and didn’t do Hilton proud.
