宿泊客は無料で使えるプール、温水ジャグジー、サウナが素晴らしかったです。私は使いませんでしたが、フィットネスもありました。 予約時点でいちばん安かった部屋（１泊１２０００円程度）に泊まりましたが、バスタブ付きで快適でした。部屋の冷蔵庫にはミネラルウォーターとポーションタイプの牛乳が冷やしてあり嬉しかったです。 スタッフの方はどなたも親切でしたし、レストランやバーも良心的な価格でした。 また近くに行くことがあれば必ず泊まりたいと思います。

ロケーション、スタッフ、朝食、レストラン、スパ、部屋の浴槽、全て予想以上でした。。唯一、部屋でwifiが繋がりにくかったことが残念でした。

湖水地方をのんびり散策する目的で4日間滞在しました。このホテルにして正解でした。まず、湖水地方の他の地域へのアクセスとなるバスターミナルはすぐ近くでしたので、バスに乗って他の地域をゆっくりのんびり散策するには良い立地でしょう。また周辺はショップやレストランも多くあり、しかもこのホテルの食事は朝のビュッフェが素晴らしくおいしいのです。朝しっかり食事をすると昼は散策周辺のカフェで軽く済ませるくらいで十分でした。部屋はバストイレがベッドのすぐわきにあって、多少窮屈な感じがしますが、毎日清潔に保っていただきよかったです。

都会から離れたせいか、のんびりとしていて、すごく静かな町でした。ただ、時期の変わり目でもあり、暖房がきかずちょっと寒い気がしました

ホテルの人の対応はとてもよかったです。部屋も使いやすく、快適でした。朝食はとても豪華で満足しました。近くにはＳＰＡＲというコンビニがあるので便利でした。

Very good choice of breakfast spa and pool lovely very relaxing and you can stay as long as you like with no additional charges

All was great, except we thought we had paid for an upgraded room. While it did have a balcony, it overlooked the parking lot rather than the village, with a tight configuration at the window. One staff member was particularly helpful, giving us great advice on hikes.

Room was spotless. All the staff were really friendly. Breakfast was beautiful with plenty of choice. All in all a lovely stay.

Great location for the lakes and central, great hotel - lovely. Bit of advice they have just opened up an outside bar in front of the special spa rooms, so if you are in a spa pool on your balcony it may be noisy - need to check with hotel I would suggest. The bar wasn't open when we went, It was just below and in front of our balcony so I can imagine it could get rowdy on an evening when some may just want to relax in their private outdoor spa on the balcony with a lovely view ? And the rooms are not cheap !! Great rooms as you have a private infra-red sauna and steam compartment/shower = WOW!! Breakfast and restaurant dinner food delicious

The breakfast was freshly cooked and it was really flexible choice from the menu. There was a full continental choice including porridge and whiskey and fruit and pastries. The staff were exceptional and you could see them being flexible across all areas of the hotel to make sure guests did not need to wait for anything. The parking was easily accessible and there was a spa and gym facilities that we didn't use as we had not prepared but when we go back we will definitely pack out swimming costumes

Great stay, we arrived while the hotel waa experiencing a local power cut and the team on duty couldn't have been more helpful. It was all resolved quickly and we had a brilliant weekend. The spa was clean and well maintained, breakfast was well cooked and the hotel was spotless. We stayed in a loft room with a sauna, steam room and spa bath and it was gorgeous. Light and airy with lots of space, we'll definitely be back!

Very old fashioned room desperately in need of a refurbishment and a deep clean. Would suit a couple in their 80’s as that was the decor. Breakfast was nice, but when my wife ordered poached eggs on toast she got 1 egg on 1/2 piece of toast, was pretty funny as it looked sad on the plate. Staff were lovely

Went with my friends for 4 nights stay, it was lovely, very helpful staff, great breakfast, weather was gorgeous so we didn’t spend the days in the hotel. As we were doing long hikes and exploring all day, didn’t make it to the spa Would definitely return

The hotel and rooms were very clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was varied and the staff helped with my ‘unusual’ request. I didn’t use the Spa so cannot comment. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Great second time at this hotel. Always a lovely chilled atmosphere in the heart of Ambleside.

Nice room and spa centre - good gym

We booked room with balcony and hot tub. Room was excellent, spacious with tea/coffee facilities and bathrobes/slippers, We made use of the hot tub which was great. Staff very friendly. Breakfast choice and food great Would highly recommend this hotel.

Brilliant

overall our weekend break in the Salutation Hotel, Ambleside was very enjoyable, couldnt fault the very pleasant staff/ service. The meals especially the Breakfast was outstanding. Our room was very comfortable and had everything required for an enjoyable stay. One struggle initially was the parking but eventually we got sorted and it was a very busy Bank holiday weekend.
