残念ながらこのホテルは今まで経験した中では最悪の印象でした。駐車場はホテル予約の時には無料となっていたのですが、€8/1泊（3日分）を請求され既に前日に支払いを済ませているのにも関わらず出車の時には再び代金を請求されるという状態でした。もちろん苦情を言いすでに支払っていると突っぱねましたが非常に不快でした。より大きな問題は午後1時に換金した時、英£100が€100-10と言う事でした、少しレートが悪いなとは思いましたが受け入れて換金しました。4時に又換金すると同じ£100が€75-90と言うのです。同じ日にこの様な変化があるとは考えられず換金をやめました。他にも朝食の酷さです！多くの滞在客が食べ残している状態を目撃しています。二度とこのホテルには滞在したくありませんし、友人や他の観光客には決して勧める事はありません。

比較的大きなホテルで、設備も整っています。対応も親切でした。朝食はバイキングで種類も豊富で満足できました。すぐ近くに青果市場があり、早朝からにぎやかな様子が窓から見えましたが、防音性が良いのか騒音は全く聞こえませんでした。

Si vous cherchez une expérience immersive dans un décor digne d’un film d’horreur, ne cherchez plus : l’Astoria Palace Hotel à Palermo pourrait presque être rebaptisé la version réelle de la The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror… mais sans le charme ni la mise en scène. Dès l’arrivée, le ton est donné : un accueil glacial, un personnel visiblement dérangé par la simple présence des clients. Le sourire semble être une option payante — et encore, probablement indisponible. Les chambres ? Une ode persistante à la cigarette froide, comme si les années 90 n’avaient jamais pris fin. Impossible d’aérer correctement, et l’impression de dormir dans un cendrier géant est loin d’être exagérée. Le petit-déjeuner mérite une mention spéciale. Buffet quasi vide, choix inexistant, et propreté plus que douteuse. Les assiettes sont sales, la vaisselle laisse perplexe, et l’hygiène globale donne envie de passer son tour. Commencer la journée avec l’envie de fuir, c’est une expérience originale, certes, mais pas celle qu’on attend d’un hôtel. Quant à la flexibilité ou au sens du service ? Inconnus au bataillon. Aucune volonté d’arranger quoi que ce soit, aucune solution proposée, juste une indifférence polie (quand elle n’est pas franchement désagréable). En résumé : un établissement qui semble figé dans le temps, mal entretenu, peu accueillant, et très loin des standards attendus. À moins de vouloir vivre une aventure “frissons garantis” version involontaire, passez votre chemin. Palerme mérit

The hotel's location, rooms, and staff are very good. The only negative aspect was the mosquitoes in the room, which were quite bothersome.

Photos on website not same as actual room- mould in bathrooms - taps rusty floors sticky with acerbic smell & outside very old with broken pavement s- rooms a real let down stuck in the 80’s!!

The air con wasnt working. The breakfast had limited options. The rooms were not clean and had flies.

Stayed for 5 nights. Excellent service and helpful pleasant staff. Comfortable large clean lobby. Rooms cleaned and towels changed punctually everyday. Excellent breakfast. Very convenient location for going in any direction. The fastest elevators !

Hotel prevalentemente per turisti stranieri inviati in massa dai grandi tour operator di medio-basso livello, dozzinale e sovraffollato. A volte bisogna aspettare 10 minuti l’ascensore, talvolta non si trova posto a sedere per la colazione. Situato lontano dal centro storico in una brutta zona rumorosa. Ci sono andato per lavoro e non l’ho potuto scegliere, ma non ci tornerei privatamente. Personale gentile.

This is not a 4 star hotel despite the advertised rating. It is an old facility in urgent need of an upgrade. For example, the Astro turf up in the 12th floor terrace is in urgent need of replacement. To be fair, the room and bathroom were clean and adequate. Is not the hotel’s fault but its location is far from the city center and without easy access. The taxi rides in Palermo are expensive and must be factored in when calculating the total cost of your stay. Only some members of the staff were friendly. On the positive side, the price was relatively inexpensive but stay away from the hotel restaurant. The food there was mediocre and expensive although the person in charge was nice.
