ホテルに来る途中、知らない人に殴られた場面を目撃。怖くなって調べたらバーミンガムは欧州ワースト4との記載があった。しかし、ホテルは快適で食事がおいしかった。

Malmaison is conveniently located a few blocks away from the main train station for Birmingham, and this is in the middle of all the action in the central city, even part of the Mailbox mall with a movie theater and excellent restaurant-bar-pub choices.

Good for business travel

Looking really old - not the Malmaison of old - freezing cold room with thermostat “barred” from increasing temperature. Carpet fraying, decor tired. Time to move on to more modern hotels. Sad really.

Great location and friendly staff

It’s central Birmingham. Canals and curry are the order of the day. You’ll have a blast.

Safe very convenient location to stations, centre and 02 Academy. Mini Tesco and Sainsbury also in walking distance. Had a standard room which was very sufficient, nice biscuits, coffee bags instead of instant and a small fridge. Bathroom had an emergency sanitary kit which saved my life. Rooms well sound proofed. Only thing was some of the furniture was a bit chipped and tired, the desk chair I reported to reception as it was very tatty and torn, hence knocked off one star.

Friendly and efficient staff. Amazing water pressure. Quiet. Very comfy bed & pillows and fluffy towels.

Spa (hot tub specifically) and gym indicated as part of the hotel, ie, not an extra fee. Chargeable amenities are always stated. This was not. And they wanted £15 lee person. Hotel admitted it was a mistake on Expedia however did not honour entry and said that "the spa is also not advertised as being free". They also state that the carpark is £18 for 24hours. It was £25. We picked this hotel based on the spa being part of it.

Room was great but bathroom very poor. Mould in the grouting and broken tiles not replaced properly.

The hotel has no discounted parkinh - parking is £25 per night The rooms are outdated and dark.
