ホテル自体は古いが、リノベーションをやっており、特に洗面所、シャワーには満足。 ただ、network機器の充電インフラ、USBはあるが使えない、電源ソケットは使えないものもあり、4星ホテルらしくなかったのが残念。 これ以上にスタッフの暖かさに触れ、感謝、ありがとうと言いたい。

ウォーターフロントまで、徒歩数分でいけ、ホテル周辺も静かである。

ウォーターフロントに近く、とても綺麗なホテルです。周辺の治安もよく、安心して過ごすことができました。一度夜にウォーターフロントから歩いて帰りましたが、特に問題はありませんでした。またケープタウンに行くことがあれば、ぜひまた宿泊したいです。

TVと冷蔵庫が動かなかった。USB充電器も使えなかった。

ウォーターフロントへ徒歩5分くらいの距離で、アクセス良し。 朝食のビュッフェも美味しく、快適に過ごせました。

チェックインからアウトまで、1番感じが悪いのはフロントスタッフ。5人程いたが平均して全て感じが良くない。コンシェルジュや朝食にいるスタッフは誰をとっても明るく感じが良い。ベルデスクも問題無し。フロントの質が悪いのはホテルにとって致命的…。チェックイン時、部屋がバリアフリーでシャワーしかなく、私には使い難い為部屋変更依頼したが、その時のインフォがチェックアウト時にあった為か、フロントの女子がわざわざ「対応注意らしい」と他のフロント女子に英語で発言していた。私英語わかりますから！頭きました。フロント以外は良いので今回普通評価にしていますが、フロントが最低レベルなので、私個人は二度と利用しません。 建物は古いが部屋はリノベーションされていて綺麗になっています。 ウォーターフロントには近いので、安心な場所であり、静かです。 朝食のブュッフェも美味しいですし、バリエーションもあります。卵も好みで作って下さいます。シェフも親切です。

ウオーターフロントに近く便利で,、治安の心配もなく、１００米ドル/泊程度で宿泊できたなんて大満足です。

建物は古いですが、とても清潔。場所よし、サービス良し。朝食も美味しい。以前よりも料金が安くなって選びやすくなりました。強いて言えば、シャワーの蛇口が使いにくいのが難点。

クイーンベットを予約したのですが、セミダブルを二つくっつけた形でした。 部屋はきれいです。 セキュリティーは廊下にもカード式のロックがついた扉があって安心感があります。 セキュリーティーボックスは６ケタ。 出入り口もひょろっちー鎖じゃなくて厚さ８㎜幅７㎝ぐらいの鉄板で閉まるタイプです。覗き窓あり。 テーブルマウンテンが見える部屋でしたが、建物ごしなのでそんなに良くなかったです。 朝食はオムレツがうまい。 アフリカのホテルの掟でスリッパ、髭剃り、歯ブラシはないです。百円ショップで揃えて行きましょう。 小さい水のペットボトルをタダで毎日くれます。 お風呂は掟破りのゆったりとしたものでお湯も出るし快適です。 シャワーは壁に固定式。 お風呂に満足したの初めてじゃなかなぁー？現地のワインを飲みながらゆっくりできました。 シャンプーの質はよくないです。石鹸はいい香り。 何しろ、ウォータフロントに歩いてすぐなのでロケーションがいいです。途中には物乞いする人が一人だけ。安全です。 掃除→チェックする人（午前）→掃除→チェックする人（午後）と１日４回部屋に勝手に入られます。 荷物はスーツケースの中にちゃんとしまいましょう。 Ｗｉ－Ｆｉは無料です。 電気のコンセントはマルチタイプのＢ3ではうまくいかなかったです。真ん中のが太いです。 洗面台に髭剃り用にマルチプラグがあります。 鏡の左下側にも３つぐらいコンセントがあります。そのうちの一つが形状が違い使えました。 全体としては満足なホテルです。

5泊した。コストパフォーマンスは高いと感じた。しかし、バスタブがなく、トイレの横に広めのシャワーエリアがあり、。その床がトイレよりも数cm高く、お湯がトイレの方に流れて行き、最終的にはドアの隙間から部屋に流れ、カーペットが水浸しになった。シャワーエリアには排水口があるが、トイレのスペースには排水口がないため、当然の結果と言える。また、部屋用のスリッパがなかった。それ以外はほぼ快適。

It is a good hotel that we have used before, mainly because of its location in easy walking distance from the V&A Waterfront.

The food in the hotel was excellent. Breakfast was so fresh and a fantastic selection to choose from including a freshly made omelette of your choice cooked in front of you. Dinner was also very good. Our room was excellent and staff were wonderful.

Kapstaden är en exceptionell destination och The Commodore ligger utmärkt nära Waterfront och alla underbara restauranger. Gångavstånd till det mesta både till och från också under kvällstid. Personalen är enastående och så omtänksamma.

We were very happy with our stay at the Commodore and would recommend it highly. Before our stay, I was concerned about location, but it’s a very easy walk and safe walk to the V&A waterfront. The breakfast was excellent. The actual dining room while we were there was closed for a few days as they did some work on it, but the outdoor dining area was opened as was the bar area so I think they handled that situation very well. We ate dinner there one night and the food was excellent, but the service could have been better. We had a suite on the sixth floor and it was wonderful with a lovely view.

Fresh and good health selection. Room was clean ,a few stained towels. Given a dodgy ironing board. No gowns or slippers in the rooms had to be requested. Room near the parki area so alot of movemen until late.. maybe sound proof abit.

Hotel and rooms were good. Spacious and clean. But very noisy. If it wasn’t the next room being very loud, it was strange mechanical noise coming from the corner of the room. Didn’t sleep well.

Lovely Hotel, Great location!!

The hotel is definitely showing signs oif the need for a refurb. Tired flooring in bar and restaurant, ridiculously noisy AC units, doors to balcony need updating as do the bathrooms. Staff were generally excellent and breakfast selection was good. I stayed in a 6th floor Deluxe Executive room but overall I felt I was paying for the location rather than any other luxuries.

Home away from home. I stayed at the Commodore half time of my visit of Cape Town and I loved it! It is a bit pricy than other hotels but it is so worth it! First, great spacious, comfortable and quiet room with a view of the pool. Second, I enjoyed their awesome immaculate sauna and steam room + gym, which provide relaxing comfort. Lastly, their staff is attentive without being overwhelming and chasing you for tips, like in the other hotel I stayed. For example, I needed an extension with a converter to charge my phone and use my electric brush, and the maintenance gentleman (Edwin) came and helped and made sure my room was at the right temperature and I knew the channels to watch movies (so sweet!) thanks Edwin! Finally, the breakfast has so many yummy options that I did not have enough time to try it all. All in all, I would always come back. What a nice, cozy and well located hotel!
