立地的に仕方ないのだが、特に夜は周辺に飲食店も無く寂しい。ランドリーサービスが22時で終わってしまって、大変不便な思いをした。観光から戻ると遅くなるし、改善を検討願いたい。

椅子が4,5人分用意されていなくて、軽食を食べる時困った。

ダウンタウンからは離れているので、到着当初は失敗したなと思いましたが、バスに乗るとダウンタウン迄10分かからないほどですし、バスの本数も多いし、バス停からもわかりやすいので、その分宿泊費が安いならここで良かったと思いました。 ホテルから徒歩ですぐアップタウンのモールがあり、その中にウォルマートやショッパーズがあって、安い現地物が手に入り、お土産購入などにも大変便利です。 ホテル自体は古いけれど、キッチンも付いているし清潔感もあり、充分な設備です。音がもれやすいので隣にうるさいお客さんがいなければ満足できるホテルです。 総合的に考えて、予算を抑えたい人にはおすすめです。

ドアから部屋の音が廊下に丸聞こえなのが少し気になる

Overall great. Gave us the wrong room first night but fixed it next day. Excellent location. Only downside was parking. Hotel guests should get priority over drinkers/pool players at the bar. Otherwise, very clean, comfy beds, hot hot showers, and great staff. Will definitely start again if we come back.

Clean rooms beds were comfortable.

The room was clean and comfortable. Having a kitchen with utensils was a great bonus, especially if you want to prepare your own meals. The staff was very helpful and kind. The only downside was that the bed wasn’t as comfortable as I had hoped.

My room was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The bathroom wa solid granite and had a hair dryer and many clean towels and facecloths. The bed was very comfortable and had blankets. Excellent T.V. too. I also had a complete kitchen with a fridge, freezer, plates, cups, cutlery and pots and pans. It also had a coffee maker and complimentary milk, sugar etc. I was absolutely delighted with my room. The Manager, Chris, was absolutely great! He was helpful, kind, welcoming and friendly. I will definitely be staying at the Red Lion Inn the next time I visit Victoria, BC. It simply can't be beat.

Rooms are old and the water smelled and tasted like fish. We all had to use a bottled water to brush teeth. The rooms are small and the beds are too soft but the price was good.

To update my past reviews, The Red Lion Inn continues to be our “go to” when in Victoria, BC. It is a great hotel…. attractive decor, excellent Chinese restaurant, close to Uptown Centre, 7 minutes from downtown by car, comfortable rooms with kitchenettes, very comfy — what’s not to like!

Very clean convenient renovated rooms.

The rooms advertised for 5 people assume you will put 3 people on a King bed. This was a bit awkward at check in since we did not have toddlers but adults… typically a King bed is for 2, never 3. They gave us a cot but it was short and there was zero room left in our room to move around. If you don’t get parking in the front, you have to park in the back and walk through a construction zone and up stairs to access the hotel. There is nothing to do at the hotel in the winter since the pool is closed and there is no lounge or weight room. But it’s cheaper than any other hotel in Victoria so you get what you pay for.

Staff excellent -place affordable and well located -my definite go to place in Victoria
