Lovely hotel in a good location in Belfast near Cathedral quarter - club deluxe room was slightly smaller than expected. They had run out of espresso capsules in rooms but reception did offer nice coffee by room service. Bar was nice and comfortable - did not use breakfast facilities. Main gripe was the bar closed at 11pm which I found strange for a city centre hotel - this was not advertised anywhere and arriving back in at 11;15pm was annoying. But overall really nice place to stay and would recommend

Nice welcome - room nice and lots of space - pillows very small and lumpy - bar team very poor - unable to make the cocktail requested - it felt like they didn't usually work behind the bar and service ended at 12pm for residents with no offer of alternatives such as night porter. Lovely service at breakfast and a great full fry

Great location for walking everywhere.

Beautiful hotel, rooms lovely and clean and modern. Whilst food was good, waiter in restaurant wasn’t good, got our orders wrong and then over charged us. Then restaurant manager kept telling him off in front of everyone to which he then laughed. So service was very poor but food was very good and bar excellent.

Malmaison offers a free drink if you opt out of having your room cleaned, which is great, unless you get your heart broken by a local

Good locale for a quick visit.

Very tired rooms. Dusty in the bathroom on skirtings etc. Towels off white. Bin collection Monday am and the noise is dreadful so don’t ask for room 315. Bathroom very tired with black mould on shower. Very disappointing place.

Lovely hotel, very nice building, modern decor inside. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Room was very nice, good size and very comfy bed. Great location.

Dated hotel with poor staff and rooms that need updating. Stains on the carpet and walls.

A very disappointing experience for our first stay in a Malmaison hotel. Thought I was spending extra to celebrate a special birthday only to be allocated a room in much need if repair. Curtains hanging off the rails and a bathroom in much need of upgrade with a semi blocked sink, corroded taps, loose fittings and although I did not request it a chair in the shower which looked unsafe for anyone due to the rusting on the legs,

The hotel is simply ok but nothing to promote to friends or family. The ambience is dull, and the room a little tired. The hot breakfast was slow at arriving and was burned. French toast is supposed to be golden, not black. Overall not fussed. The test is always; would I go back. And in this case the answer is no.

The place is falling apart and filthy. The wall paper was coming away from the wall’s and if you opened the window you had to lift it back into the frame to close it. So bad I checked straight out and booked the Grand Central! Far superior. Comfortable. Clean and spacious.

I hate the fact that I keep getting emails from Expedia even though I have unsubscribed twice. Retaining my data is a GDPR breach. Do not use this service.

Shower handle fell off, window didn’t lose so very noisy!

Lovely friendly staff. Comfortable room. Breakfast was great, especially accommodating for Gluten free guests.
