My work pays for hotel up to a certain limit, I put my own money down just to stay here because it’s clean, luxurious, and comfortable

Very clean. Safe. Good breakfast. Attentive and friendly staff.

Please could use a little update. Outside landscaping was a little rough, but staff was really nice. Breakfast was great.

We like the property a lot it was nice and clean the pool great the only complaint would be the ac in the room wasn’t cool enough on the really hot days

Downtown Chicago service and amenities, right in the middle of a crap hole like Wisconsin Rapids. It doesn't make sense, but I'm so happy it's there. Complimentary massage chairs, 2 great restaurants, decent breakfast, and beautiful pool and hot tub. All this, and it's one of the lowest cost hotels in the area.

Problem with ac

Very terrible air conditioning problem. I feel I need to be compensated!

Breakfast was outstanding. The common areas were plentiful and very nice. The only negative is that the rooms were very warm with very little air movement. The hallways were extremely warm.

Staff was friendly and property was clean and well maintained. Disappointed when I checked in, reserved two rooms and they were not anywhere near each other(different towers). When we went to our room I thought it was odd that there was a box fan on the table, realized it was because the room was incredibly warm and air conditioning didn’t work.

Thing was great especially the breakfast!

The food wasn't bad. It was a little salty but not bad. The best was breakfast.

Arrived on Thursday, had to take a cold shower as there was no hot water. That night, pulled back the duvet and there was literally blood on the sheet!! Had to "stock" the room myself (towels and kleenex) When I explained these things to the desk I was told there was "nothing we can do since you pre-paid your stay."

Room was clean and well laid out. We stayed during very hot weather and the AC in the room was great the first two night but wouldn’t put out cold air the third night, which was uncomfortable.

We read a lot of reviews before staying here for a wedding. Unfortunately a lot of them came to be true. Our room had a smell, missing outlet covers, incredibly old furniture, hair all over the bathroom, water damage on the ceiling, and lack of lighting in the room. We will not be back.

AC didnt work. No fan in bath. Window opens 4" inches

The air conditioner didn’t work hardly in our room. The tub wouldn’t drain. We finally asked to be moved to another room. I would never consider this place a “Resort” by any means. Overall it was not a good experience

Hotel really needs to be updated - rooms are straight out of the 1980’s. Our king suite had extra furniture in it - felt like it was a dumping ground for extra stuff bed was comfy though. Staff was friendly & helpful. Fun bar & good food.

Your room is not secure. Stay at the Cobblestone down the road instead. Hotel Mead gave our room keys to another guest! The other guest tried entering our room after midnight, and came back with a hotel employee who aggressively knocked on our door at 12:20 a.m. and told me the room was assigned to another guest. Once I identified myself, she said we were given the wrong keys and were supposed to be in another room. This was a huge safety risk - I was there with my child and had we not pulled the chain, we would’ve had strangers in our room in the middle of the night! After I closed the door, the hotel staff and other guest argued loudly in the hallway for another 15 minutes. I tried to resolve things with the hotel but they said there was nothing they could do, as we’d booked through a 3rd party. No apology, zero accountability, horrible customer service. Expedia tried to work with them for a refund on my behalf and couldn’t even get them to respond. (Expedia gave me some OneKey cash as a goodwill gesture.) On top of all that, the sheets were dirty, the shower gel was empty, and the air conditioning was broken. Overall, horrible experience!
